Enjoying a stunning setting on 'God's Island' near one of the most spectacular pristine beaches in Nusa Dua, this wonderful resort offers guests a beach resort paradise. Resembling a Balinese water palace, this aesthetically inspiring resort is within easy walking distance of the beach, a short drive from the airport and 3 kms from the nearest 18-hole golf course. This beautifully designed resort boasts a wealth of recreation and relaxation amenities and facilities including lavishly presented rooms, a Spa and exemplary dining options. The comfortable rooms come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Ayodya is a good resort, clean, beautiful view, and Luxurious.
Travelling can be such a pain. You’re rushing to make your flight on time then you get to Bali and after exiting customs, you get overwhelmed by all the people offering to give you a ride.
TIP: Try to arrange airport pick up with Ayodya. It will save so much trouble and hassle and confusion.
You’ll find that travelling by car to Nusa Dua is much easier than Seminyak or Canggu.
You arrive at the Ayodya. Ahhhh 😎. The place is big – I mean really big. It’s almost overwhelming in stature when you turn off the main road onto the grounds. It’s just so pretty. There’s a huge lagoon in the front with carvings and bougainvillea and a lot of old world charm.
As soon as you step into the spacious lobby, you can fill all your troubles melt away.
TIP: if you can, I highly recommend upgrading to the Ayodya Palace level. That way your driver can bypass main reception and take you around to a private reception area. It’s quiet and intimate and you have one-on-one attention from the staff as you check in. I have more info on the Palace in my separate review for it.
The hotel is huge, yep, but they still make you feel special and are attentive to your individual needs.
Basically, the buildings are in a horseshoe shape, with the ends of the horseshoe facing the beach and the lobby and restaurants at the front. Restaurants include the Waterfall grill, Indian and Japanese restaurants. There’s also a nice gym and indoor squash court just past the Japanese restaurant. In the middle of the horseshoe are beautiful old world-looking grounds and a huge lagoon. Between the ends of the horseshoe are additional places to eat near the beach. One is if you’re a palace member and the other is a large beach-side casual, outdoor restaurant. There’s even a Balinese performance theatre in the interior where you can watch cultural shows in a beautiful dinner theatre.
TIP: for more information about the outdoor Balinese dinner theatre, check out the reviews on it on Apple maps.
TIP: The Waterfall is the main place where you will have buffet breakfast. But it’s also awesome to go there for lunch because they have an extensive menu. Dinner time is also great because they have an outdoor grilling station.
Tip: be sure to be kind and courteous to the staff because they really appreciate it and will reward your kindness with extra kindness.
The rooms are spacious and immaculate.
They have daily activities such as yoga, cycling, power walking, Aqua activities. They also have cultural activities such as wood carving, Balinese dress, music, etc
TIP: it can be hard to find out about all the activities so make sure you ask information about them when you check in.
TIP: Ayodya is one of the closest resorts to the little business centre and is a pleasant walk to it. There are local vendors and there is a Coco Supermarket which has good selection and prices. If you want to walk a little further, the Bali Collection is an outdoor mall.
Yeah, this place is huge, but you don’t feel overwhelmed by it. It still makes you feel cozy and intimate and there are a lot of reasons why they’ve still been in business for all this time. Beauty, immaculate, well-maintained rooms and grounds and an overall lovely, magical experience. We came last year and are back again!
Our stay at Ayodya Resort Bali was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and offers something for everyone, whether you’re travelling as a couple, with family, or simply looking for a relaxing getaway.
What really made our stay special was the incredible staff. Every single person we met was warm, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their kindness made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The food was exceptional, with a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and served with a smile. The service throughout the resort was first-class—professional, attentive, and consistently excellent.
Ayodya Resort Bali truly delivers a five-star experience. The combination of stunning surroundings, outstanding hospitality, and excellent food makes it a place we will always remember. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali and can’t wait to return.
Amazing hotel and architecture with kind members of staff. Shame the sea was not clean with rubbish drifting at times with the tides. Breakfast was very good.
Lovely experience and wonderful, traditional resort. We will likely be coming back. Fantastic family holiday.
