Amarterra Villas Bali Nusa Dua

Wonderful hotel rooms, our villa and pool was so lovely and we were so sad to leave. One of us was celebrating a birthday and it really was decorated so nicely and made it a special celebration.

The food was also excellent, although we did find the dinner menu a bit confusing…. We were given a half board/set menu on the first night to choose from, but then on subsequent nights were told we could also order off the standard menu which was odd and we probably would have liked to have both options on the first night. Breakfast also excellent, so nice to have both buffet and à la carte options.

The only other negative/thing we found odd (although not hotels fault) was that the restaurant in the evening was completely empty from about 9pm and we felt a bit like we were in the way. Although some people I guess ordered drinks to rooms it seemed odd to be so quiet so early.

Although the cocktails were nice and well priced the range wasn’t as good as could be. Highly recommend the local wines however, and the gin and tonic we had after dinner was great with the huge square ice cube and lots of limes.

Gym was also excellent as was pool.

Highlight however was def the room and the villa itself however the staff were also excellent, everyone were encountered were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Was sad to leave and def hoping to return again some day.

Came here with my sister and elderly parents and we were totally blown away. The resort is stunning, our room was so luxurious, the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond for us! The food was 10/10 too! While Nusa Dua is not quite the “authentic” Bali experience it suited my family perfectly. The cherry on top was how accessible it was for my mother who has mobility issues (ramps, railings etc) which was an additional, unexpected comfort. We barely left the resort and were not disappointed to have spent 90% of our time there!
