Great time had by all
Our stay here was amazing. The location is straight across from the beach. We went every day so the kids could surf. The restaurant out the front had delicious food although a little more expensive. The rooms are very clean and a little old but we like the Bali touches. The pools water was a bit too warm and the pool with the bar need some attention. It had alot of mould. We did not swim in it. All in all we had a great holiday.
Fantastic plus plus
This resort is directly across the road from the beach. It is central to anything you could want/need. Walking distance to a mall, restaurants and shops. We were there for 3 weeks and never seen a single employee at anytime that didn't have a smile on their face. They did everything in their power to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Our fridge quit working a few day into our vacation and literally within minutes we had it replaced. The room was great. Close to both pools and the reception area. They are cleaned daily with bottled replaced daily. Other than a few heavy footed people upstairs, we never heard a sound. Very quiet at all times. The breakfast is well worth the cost. A large variety of offerings and an egg station that does the egg dishes perfectly. It is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic boutique hotel
What a fantastic hotel…we booked into one of the newly renovated villas and what a fantastic room, we had the luxury of two bathrooms, a beautiful super king bed with tv and living area with another tv, it had a small garden area with a couple of chairs and a table. The villa also had an interconnecting door to the pool villa next door making it a great option for larger groups. The staff were superb in all areas of the hotel from the security to the kitchen staff….always smiling and very helpful. The newly renovated breakfast room was great and lots of choice of food. Location is great opposite the beach and a good location for shopping, bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

What a gem of a find
We stayed at the Alum Kulkul for 10 days. There is not one negative about this resort. Beautiful gardens, very topical. We stayed in an Alum Lanai room. Large room, king bed, do comfortable. Great pillows. Huge bathroom. Great hot water shower. Free Wifi and Netlix. Breakfast buffet, absolutely everything you can think of and all on a rooftop area overlooking the ocean. Great location in between Kuta and Legian. So many restaurants, bars and shopping to easy walking. Opposite beach and beach bars. I would definitely stay again. Very quiet and 2 pools to choose from.
