- Adi Dharma Hotel Legian

The hotel is located on the Legian Street, just a short walk from shopping centres, entertainment venues and dining options in Kuta. The centre of Denpasar is just a half-hour drive away. Drive time from Bali International Airport is approximately 15 minutes. Renovated in 2018, this hotel comprises a total of 37 rooms. This hotel offers all modern facilities and services including a spacious lobby with a reception desk open 24 hours. A parking space is also available for guests' convenience. All rooms are fully-equipped as standard featuring a balcony and individually adjustable air-conditioning. The hotel has its own outdoor swimming pool with children's paddling section. A massage service and various spa treatments are also available.
Adi Dharma Legion is centrally located. A few minutes to the beach and within walking distance of many great shops and places to eat.
The rooms are quite large, the beds are huge and very comfortable.
The Nasi Bali restaurant was amazing. So many great meals to try.
The staff were lovely.
My only complaint was the noise, which Adi Dharma has no control over. Nearby clubs play music very loudly until 3am. The room I was in was on the top floor and seemed to get the most noise. My friends on the ground floor did not hear it.
I would 100% stay there again if I can get a room on the ground floor.
Situated close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away from the partying noise. The friendliest and most accomodating staff that treat you like friends and family. Your every need is met here. I return time and time again because it ticks every box.
Lovely hotel, located in a good place but you need a good walk or taxi to most places. Very busy road directly outside the hotel but there was very little noise. There is a rear access gate that is useful and you can use the amenities at the sister hotel that way. We upgraded our room. It was a very large room overlooking the swimming pool. The room had a lovely 4 poster bed, small bathroom, not much closet space. But the room was kept spotless by housekeeping. We used the laundry service which was cheap, efficient and worthwhile. We had our breakfast at the sister hotel the Kuta, it was a lovely setting with a good choice of foods. We used the pools at both hotels, the Legian is a quieter pool. The Kuta seems a larger hotel, with more families. Kuta also has a gym, pool bar and a massage area… and they were all great. This is my second trip to Bali after 6 years and the increase in traffic is significant. So be aware of this when planning trips and the time it might take. For example we were going to the Iron Fairies bar in Seminyak (well worth a visit if you like a cool vibe and great house band). The 7km/ 4 mile trip took over an hour, and that was with a taxi driver taking short cuts through what seemed like peoples yards at times. It was like this for all the trips we took whilst in Bali. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
We had a great experience. We have been coming to Bali for approximate 28 years and we have have stayed here a number of times except once when we travelled with 5 children and thought they would like Hard Rock, it was the words experience. The staff here are very friendly and many of them have worked here since the hotel opened 38 years ago. I think that says they must be great to work for. I can highly recommend and will be back soon.
Stayed at Adi Dharma Hotel in Legian recently and had a pretty mixed experience.
On the plus side, the location is fantastic—close to everything you need in Legian. The pool area is really nice and a great spot to relax, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately, the shower situation really let it down. The fixed nozzle is positioned so close to the wall that you can’t actually stand under it properly, and it can’t be adjusted. On top of that, the water pressure is extremely weak—more like a trickle—and it never really gets hot. Ended up having to lather up and rinse off using the handheld trickle, which wasn’t ideal.
Overall, a decent stay for location and comfort, but the shower setup definitely needs improvement.
