This hotel enjoys a prestigious location just off of Kuta's bustling Legian street. Well-known among surfers and travellers in Asia, Kuta Beach is only a short walk away, and the Bali Shell Museum, Waterbom Bali waterpark and a variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel's comfortable and functional guest rooms feature a sleek, contemporary design with the look and feel of a modern city hotel. Most rooms have balconies overlooking the central garden and swimming pool, and all come with air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms. Guests might make use of the wireless internet access and tea and coffee making facilities in the lobby, and after a busy day of sightseeing might go for a swim in the inviting outdoor pool. This hotel's comfy rooms, casual style and amazing location make it ideal for a couple's retreat to Bali. Samsara offers a serene child free environment and has also implemented a no smoking policy throughout the hotel premises and FREE WIFI in rooms.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I have stayed here before and it is still amazing value. Lovely staff, beautiful small pool, clean room with TV and fridge. Such good value and close to Poppies. 10 minute walk to beach. No bar but the warung across the lane is cheap and tasty
Really enjoyed the few days I stayed at Samsara. Booed it last last minute as it was close to the airport. The staff was incredibly welcoming when I arrived and provided a lovely welcome drink. The pool area is very nice, the hotel restaurant is right across the street. Plenty of food and shopping options just steps away. Great value for the location. Nida was particularly helpful when I needed to leave my bags at the hotel for a few days while I left the island.
Stayed here for two weeks in September and enjoyed it..it is situated down a small alleyway in the centre of kuta... The only problem was the alleyway was being paved during our visit, which was not the fault of the hotel... I guess this work will be complete in a week or so. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, rooms are a little on the small size but have a decent size bathroom and constant hot running water in the shower. The pool area is a good size and peaceful if you want to relax. Best of all it is child free...all of the staff are friendly and polite..I would certainly recommend this hotel.
I booked this hotel for a week because it had such good reviews on TripAdvisor. After staying at several hotels in Kuta, I’m convinced the owner is spamming the reviews with fake positive reviews. I say that because there are much better hotels with much less impressive reviews. There is only one logical explanation for the exceptional reviews.
The rooms:
The rooms are tiny. I mean really really tiny. No closet or Wardrobe. No comfortable easy chair to relax or read a book in. No desk or table to work on the computer. No hot water. Teapot on request, but no place to put it! Lack of power outlets. Power outlets are so important for a traveler with phone, computer, ipad, gopro etc to charge up.
On the plus side:
Everything is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I certainly would NOT book this place in the future. There are so many better options in this price range.
It was a really lovely place. Nice rooms, clean and has everything you need. Nice friendly staff. Drinking water bottles were replaced daily. Comfy beds and pillows. The small road/access way is having some work done which can’t be helped so we walked a short distance to the entry. Really great location close to everything, and a delicious coffee store ‘Edgy’ close by. I would stay here again.
