- Bintang Kuta Hotel

Bintang Kuta Hotel is located in the prime location of Jalan Kartika Plaza, next to its sister hotel, Ramada Bintang Bali Resort. It has a direct access to the well-known South Kuta Beach, shopping centre and entertainment district. The hotel is spread over almost one hectare of beautiful landscape, with an artistic touch combining minimalist modern style of living. It is the ideal choice of accommodation for leisure and business travellers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Could possibly be, with major improvement, a very good hotel. It’s pretty average right now, imho. Most disappointing is the cold room service food. Cold fries, greasy, cold club sandwiches were not appetising or appealing. Positives: Excellent breakfast staff in cafe, Dewi is exceptional. Hard to find experienced hospitality staff in Bali. The truly great Balinese staff are aboard cruise ships though. We’re a bit disappointed this stay, our first at this hotel, our fiftieth visit to Bali, however, perhaps we’ll give the hotel another try later in the year. Hope to get better, hotter food delivered to our room after a busy day exploring! Positives: Beds are comfy. Housekeeping excellent. Food quality from room service is a huge negative to us though! Lots of great food at Living Tree opposite hotel.
My husband and I accidentally booked three nights here, believing the hotel was in Kuta, Lombok rather than Kuta, Bali — an easy mistake to make given that both places are called Kuta. We realised the mistake almost immediately. Within approximately five minutes, we cancelled the reservation and contacted the hotel, apologising for the error, explaining exactly what had happened and politely asking them not to charge us. They refused and kept the full €150. Yes, technically the booking was non-refundable. We are perfectly aware of that. But there is a considerable difference between being legally entitled to keep someone’s money and choosing to do so when a genuine mistake is reported and corrected within five minutes. The hotel lost no meaningful opportunity to sell the room. We did not occupy it, use any service or cause them any actual inconvenience. Yet they still decided that keeping €150 was preferable to showing a minimum of understanding and common sense. I find this attitude incredibly petty and deeply disappointing. If a business feels the need to pocket €150 from a customer who made an obvious mistake, cancelled within minutes and immediately apologised, that tells me everything I need to know about the way that business chooses to treat people. There are plenty of hotels in Bali. I would personally choose one that understands the difference between enforcing a cancellation policy and taking advantage of an obvious, immediately corrected mistake.
Location first class cleanliness top quality. Staff fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel. Pool immaculate great variety for breakfast
The Dining Room staff were so friendly n could not do enough for you ..with Adi n Sanjaya on breakfast duties were so welcoming
We have been staying at this Hotel yearly over the past 10 or so years due to location, value and the amazing staff. Rooms are always clean and the breakfast menu has ample choices for Australian tourists visiting this Hotel. Special shout out to Sanjaya, Ardi and the breakfast team who always greet you with a smile, handshake or traditional Balinese welcome. Another huge plus is that Hotel guests can use many of the adjoining Bintang Bali Resorts facilities including the gym and magnificent pool. Great Hotel, great location, great staff 👍
