This beautiful hotel, which used to be a private estate, has been completely renovated and redesigned to the highest standard. On the beach front of the Berawa Surfing beach, a surfer's paradise, it is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, revitalizing break. Within easy reach are other beaches, the Nirwana Golf course and the Tanah Lot Temple. Facilities at the resort include free parking, an outdoor pool, a gym, fitness, spa and wellness centre, on site water sports, barbers, beauty and gift shops. A choice of 3 restaurants and evening entertainment complete the experience. The modern, elegantly furnished spacious suites offer ocean views through panoramic windows, private balconies, satellite television, air-conditioning, safes, mini bars, tea and coffee makers and iPod docking station. Non-smoking rooms area available as are facilities for the disabled.

Location is good, but property is old and suffocated. Not like 5 star property. It’s 4 star with good location and infinity pool in front of Canggu beach

Avoid an expensive and crushing disappointment
This should have been a glorious stay, based on the “beautiful” images on the hotel website; instead we found one of the worst hotels we have ever visited. We booked a two-bedroom suite with pool as a treat. The overall décor was run down, shabby and soulless: rusty bathroom mirrors; rusty buckled window catches; tired/damaged furniture; wonky old bedroom aircon unit; filthy water dripping from broken overhead gutters; second bedroom had no window/natural light; rusty air-conditioning units on our terrace; only two chairs/loungers outside (for a suite that slept four people); etc. The website images must have been enhanced: the reality was that the main pool was murky and green – impossible to see the bottom and a far cry from the crystalline blue water depicted on the website; the exterior facades of the building were shabby and dirty in contrast to the bright white images; and the beach is dark brown/black volcanic sand (as is totally normal in Bali) - not golden, as shown. We have visited Bali several times previously, so know what is reasonable and to be expected. This was unacceptable in every way; we left after the first night and found a beautiful pool villa nearby via AirBnB – for less than the hotel fee. At the time of writing (over a month later), we are still waiting for Lv8 to refund our money, given the gross misrepresentation between what we thought we were buying and the disgraceful reality …
