Even with the renovation going on, it was a great experience for the family!
First, I was concerned about the renovation that was going on. But when we arrived, we realized there was no impact of the reno on our stay. We enjoyed amazing days at Dreams Tulum. We were a party of 4, 2 adults, a 4yo and a 6mo. We all had a great time, enjoyed the restaurants, the pools, and my son loved the Explorer's Club. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, kind, and ready to help. Food and beverages were very good. The international buffet (World Cafe) was a great option every time we went there. Great variety and freshness of the food, as well as very clean. Shoutout to Diana at World Cafe, to Santos, Edwin and Eloy at the relax pool, Ulysses at the Tepanyaki dinner, and Natalia if you are a UVC member! Also, a special shoutout to the team at the Explorer's Club: Zamantha, Fernanda, Xally and Leslie. It was my son's first experience at a kids' club, he doesn't speak Spanish and he was the only child in our party. Nevertheless, the team made him feel so welcome; they made sure he was part of all the activities, he enjoyed his time there and was actually sad on his last day saying goodbye to them. Overall, it was a great vacation! We were able to eat well, relax and have fun. Note that this is seagrass season, and we were aware of that. I thought the smell at the hotel and close to the beach was going to be very bad, but it was better than expected.

Good
I was disappointed with the Preferred Club experience at Dreams Tulum. We paid extra for Preferred Club, but the resort was undergoing renovations and several of the amenities we expected were unavailable.
There was only one Preferred Club bar on the beach, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on some days it was closed due to inspections. The other Preferred Club bar/lounge was closed because of renovations. For the additional price we paid, I don’t feel the Preferred Club experience was worth it.
What truly made our vacation memorable, however, was the amazing staff. A special thank you to Geysler, Laura, Benito, and Guadalupe at the Preferred Club beach bar for their exceptional service.
I would also like to recognize Areli and Luciano at the World Café. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed.
Highly recommend!
staff throughout the resort were excellent and could not do enough for you. it was a fun and happy atmosphere. there was a variety of restaurants and the buffet was very good. Drinks were excellent and poolside service was very quick. Check in and check out was very easy and we are provided drinks while registering.

10/10 Destination Wedding
The staff were all friendly, professional, and welcoming. We worked with Brenda to plan our wedding. She exceeded our expectations and was very helpful during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The photographers were all efficient, passionate, and helpful. Our spa experience was one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough positive things about Dreams Tulum. It was clean, family friendly, and relaxing!

Dreams Tulum R&S missed its mark until we went to the spa. One of these days, the spa will be part of the all inclusive option!
