The best hotel in Tulum
This is our second stay at Casa Malca. It’s more than just the novelty of the art. The service is first class. The food is fantastic and the setting is the best in the hotel zone. Any seaweed on the beach was removed straight away whereas the rest of the hotels had huge piles of seaweed building up. The beach is deeper than any other hotel and the sun loungers are set back under palm trees keeping your space private but still directly beach front. Clemente and Fausto did everything possible to make sure we had the best time. Breakfast is fantastic quality. We will be back again soon.

Casa Malca dinner
Hello the staff were amazing there . Very good food very good atmosphere. We went to dinner late and was still able to see the famous lobby . Very beautiful

Thanks to everyone at Casa Malca for making our stay a pleasure. Breakfast was fantastic every morning . The room was perfect . We really enjoyed the art tour . The location is quite good in tulum with lots of bars and restaurants around.

A unique and peaceful beachfront escape
The hotel is not ultra-luxurious in the traditional sense, but it is incredibly charming, beautifully designed, and unlike anywhere else. It has a very unique atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay—genuinely kind, attentive, and always eager to help. Our room was huge, and the team was very accommodating with every request we had.
One of the highlights is the pool area, which is absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Another thing we loved is that every room is built directly on the sand, whether facing the beach or nestled in the jungle, giving the whole property the feeling of a private beachfront villa.
Breakfast is à la carte rather than a buffet, and every dish we tried was delicious and freshly prepared.
The only real downside is not the hotel itself but the beach conditions. During our stay, there was a significant amount of seaweed. It seems to be more of a regional issue, and I wish more was being done to protect this beautiful coastline, as some nearby areas such as Playa del Carmen appear to be better managed. Tulum town also felt much quieter than expected, with many shops and restaurants closed.
That said, Casa Malca offers such a serene and special experience that it is absolutely worth staying here. If you’re looking for a peaceful, stylish retreat where you can truly unwind, this place is a fantastic choice.

Wonderful wedding Venue
Casa Maca was the destination for my daughter‘s wedding. The service was outstanding had a beautiful room which was upgraded as the mother of bride. Great breakfast included with your room. The wedding was absolutely amazing and very magical exactly what my daughter was looking for. Watching them transform the resort for the wedding was truly amazing. The servers that were around the pool or on top of their game never had to look for someone to get a drink. The onlybad part was the seaweed, but they tried to keep that at bay by constantly raking the beach. It was a beautiful weekend. The pool party on Sunday between the DJ the service was a great day. I highly recommend this for anydestination wedding.
