Anniversary trip-wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very special, the room was lovely and the beach was gorgeous. The service was 5 stars! We had amazing service from Omar (who arranged a special anniversary dinner), Luis, Maria, Jose and many more that I’m forgetting their names. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay special and comfortable. Highly recommend the food as well.
First trip to Mexico
Me and my partner stayed at Ana Y Jose for 7 nights. One word, amazing. From exiting the taxi at the entrance, we was greeted by security on the door and had our bags taken off us so we could check in without the hassle. Check in service was smooth and informative, we were then taken by Paulina, a lovely, warm concierge. She took us around the hotel and showed us where everything is. Answered all our questions and showed us to our gorgeous room. Our bags then arrived 2 minutes after we arrived at our room! Thank you! And Paulina also helped my partner with a birthday request for me! The room, we got a free upgrade! Perfect as it was my 26th birthday! We stayed right outside the princess pool, Lluvia was our room. Gorgeous comfy bed, lovely shower, decor was on theme! All the cleaners did a GREAT job! Thank you! Great turn down service each night also! With incense and chocolates! They also left details of promotions and weather conditions for the next day! Very informative! Breakfast, every day we were greeted by Maria and a guy beginning with M! (So sorry to have forgotten! Also, another guy at breakfast (with braces) They were very observant and indulged us everyday! Served with fresh bread/ fruit and juice! This changed each morning! Breakfast right infront of the beach! Refills of drinks without asking! They really looked after us! Thank you so much! Omar, thank you for your warm welcome! Such great service as well! Omar served us each lunch and dinner! Great rapport and set the vibe! He offered great outside food and activity recommendations and was just a joy to be around - special thank you for the birthday set up also! The food! Not one issue. Omar gave us his recommendations each time! Spot on! Special shout out to the grouper fish, Catch of the day. And the Shrimp Tacos! Delicious! Thank you to the chefs! The hotel itself is amazing, right on the beach, free access to loungers. The night staff actually bought me a turtle during dinner to hold and set back on the beach for a timely journey to the sea. What a magical moment - I never felt so special! Security did an awesome job, always someone outside and on the beach. 5 minute walk to a Go Mart. 25 minute walk to 7/11. Multiple pharmacies and hotel restaurants and restaurants themselves plotted up and down the strip. Multiple sights to enjoy. 15 minute Collectivo journey to town, costing 50 MXN for 2 each way! Just look for the small red and white bus! We were SO sad to go, and thank Ana Y Jose Staff for making our first trip to Tulum, Mexico an unforgettable experience! Thank you!!
