Great and cozy place
We loved the place. Cozy and unique style rooms. Had to manage / improvise having a 10 year old and a clear glass shower. But it’s right on the beach. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Note: SEPTEMBER BAD TIME TO COME TO TULUM.
Beautiful Experience with Extra Touches (Sargassum isn’t bad)
Had a lovely time at the Alaya. We arrived to find I had been upgraded to a sea view for my birthday with the most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are super lovely and accommodating to us. I’ve personally never stayed anywhere so beautiful. It’s low season so super peaceful location & atmosphere. We did yoga the first morning and the breakfast is super lovely. Loads of really cool restaurants and bars in the area. And the staff were always happy to help us with any questions. The room was left immaculate and you feel very safe with the security. We were even allowed to use the pool. When it comes to the sargassum, it’s really not that bad. Didn’t smell it and they doing their best to clean what is there but the sea is still super warm to dip into. This is Mother Nature and nothing to do with the Hotel so people need to stop complaining like this is the hotels doing. Amazing price we paid for this experience also x

The best experience ever !!!!
5 STARS This place is literally a Paradise. The personal like Daniel and other at the front desk very nice, polite and eager to help you. Very clean place and very quiet. Now the is to come, the food is EXCELLENT, Ismael is the chef, he is absolutely fantastic, Pedro our server absolutely fantastic, the food has such a great flavor with a lot of attention for details, Pedro all the time was over to bring and assist us to all of our needs. Also you can do yoga and other amazing activities. Everything was PERFECT ! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AND FOR A GREAT TIME !!!
Best Hotel
Our stay in Alaya hotel in Tulum was absolutely amazing! Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect—close to everything while still feeling peaceful and surrounded by nature. The beach was breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters.
