Wonderful 30th anniversary trip
Great food, great location, wonderfully helpful staff including Karen who was a very thoughtful concierge and Erik and Mario who led a lot of fun activities and engaged guests in fun games and lessons
5 Star Stay in Akumal!
Secrets Akumal is one of the best resorts I've ever been to. I feel like all other resorts will be trying to meet this level and fail. While the beach has seaweed it was still beautiful and amazing to snorkel right there off the hotel beach. The property is beautiful and the pools are gorgeous. The concierge at the quiet pool was amazing. There was always something being brought around to you; ice cold, spa smelling towels for a hot day, fresh fruit with Tajin, coconut water in fresh coconuts, sunglass cleaning etc., the list goes on! They make luxury feel luxurious. The food is delicious and lots of great options, never had to wait at any of the restaurants. There outdoor events at night are a whole production, the Akumart was one of the coolest experiences. We recommend this resort to all the couples we know. While it has gotten quite pricey, I'm sure it is still worth it. We will be back to find out!

Amazing stay!
My boyfriend and I went to Secrets Akumal for a much needed vacation and to also celebrate his birthday! This was our first time in Akumal and at a Secrets. We were not disappointed! The property was beautiful and in a peaceful and serene area. The staff was amazing! They were accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food was exceptional with so many choices. We even had the opportunity to do a romantic dinner by ocean. It was lovely! We did not want for anything. This resort exceeded our expectations. We have been to several resorts over the years and this is at the top of our list!

The People Made the difference.
One of the things that truly sets Secrets Akumal apart is its exceptional staff. Every person we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable.
A special thank you to Karen, our amazing concierge, who made sure every detail was taken care of. Aaron from the check-in team gave us a wonderful welcome and started our vacation off right.
The beach team was outstanding. Ana, Sharon, Ruben, Hector, and Eliazard were always friendly, attentive, and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked.
Oscar and Allan from the entertainment team brought so much energy and fun to the resort. Carolina and Lucia at the spa provided one of the most relaxing experiences we've ever had. Diego at Hibati made our dining experience both enjoyable and memorable. We also want to thank Edmundo for the exceptional service during our final breakfast. It was the perfect way to end our stay.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Hernandez, our housekeeper, who kept our room spotless every day and added thoughtful touches that made us feel truly cared for.
To everyone at Secrets Akumal, thank you for making our vacation so special. We can't wait to return!
