Currently staying at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya. Although it's a lovely resort, the lack of evening entertainment for children is extremely disappointing. With so many families and children staying here, it's surprising there are no proper evening shows. For an all-inclusive resort of this standard, we expected much more. One massive plus is our wonderful host, Amelio! He has gone above and beyond to cater for our every need and made my husband's birthday extremely special. His exceptional service has truly made a difference to our holiday. Thank you, Amelio! ❤️

We did a preferred club swim up. We absolutely loved our pool. Spent a lot of time in it, not a lot of others did. We had a beautiful king size bed, very comfortable, lots of pillows and in the room there was also a pullout couch, we didn't need it, but it was good to know for next time. Lots room for kids if you needed. Housekeeping was amazing, asked us what we needed delivered every time. Food was not entirely our expectation, but recent facebook pages sort of suggested what we experienced. There was some good and some meh. We did get room service twice. And it was pretty darn, good. And a great option. They came timely and efficiently. There was no real entertainment in the evening, but we did catch a lady singer completely by accident after going to 1 of the restaurants near the lobby. The preferred side is actually nice. Because most of the children stayed to the other side, we were an older couple. So we don't mind children, but I don't want to go to a family resort to be inundated with screaming children. The weirdest thing we experience was that the preferred pool was extremely shallow. So when you enter the pool, you're about waist deep, then you go under the bridge to a section that takes you to the adult, only swim up bar. So no kids passed that point. And it got so shallow that it was up to your knees. It was very strange. The hot tub was running and we spent a lot of time in there because we did have some cooler days, and some rain. The beach is not why we went and honestly. There wasn't even anybody on the beach. But over to the right, there's this neat area of rocks and coral. There are the sort of man made pools that you can soak in. Nobody was even over there. It was such a cool spot. Overall, we will return to this resort. We loved our swim up room. We got a decent price. So the food aside we were okay

Our second stay at Dreams Aventuras: Still discovering reasons to return!

Returning to Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya was something we had been looking forward to since our wonderful stay in July last year. Although we had to postpone our original travel plans due to my wife's ligament injury, we were delighted to finally return, this time experiencing the Preferred Club.

A beautiful resort with so much to offer

Dreams Aventuras has magnificent facilities and an excellent location in Puerto Aventuras. One of the things we love most is that there is so much to enjoy and discover. Even on our second visit, we found new experiences that made us appreciate the resort even more. We genuinely recommend taking the time to explore everything it has to offer!

The Preferred Club was definitely worth it! We loved the peaceful atmosphere of the exclusive pool, the softer background music, the jacuzzi, and the opportunity to experience the spa for the first time.

Our room had an exceptional location and a beautiful view, while the thoughtful little amenities added an extra touch of comfort to our stay.

Although we did not use the hotel's beach this time, we were pleased to notice that efforts appeared to have been made to manage the sargassum situation. The beach looked noticeably cleaner, which we consider a very positive improvement and something worth recognizing.

Exceptional people make exceptional memories

What truly makes Dreams Aventuras special, however, is its people.

It was heartwarming to discover that some staff members still remembered us from our previous visit!

A special thank you to Emilio, from Concierge, for his outstanding assistance, and to Ronie at the entrance, whom we were delighted to see again.

One particularly memorable moment was when our daughter became unwell. Javi, from the Preferred Club, kindly suggested having the chef prepare homemade chicken soup and deliver it to our room. She enjoyed it so much that she asked for it twice more that day! Thankfully, she soon recovered. Such a thoughtful gesture meant so much to us.

At World Café, Chef Helena was exceptional. When she noticed that my wife could not find anything she particularly enjoyed at the buffet, she kindly offered to prepare something especially for her. Her genuine care and attention on several occasions made a real difference.

We would also like to thank Andretti, who remembered our family, Ezequiel for his wonderful service, and Johnny at Portofino. Two lovely staff members at Oceana's breakfast service also deserve recognition, although unfortunately we did not learn their names.

Finally, a special mention to Tannia (if we remember her name correctly), who provided exceptional service at the Preferred Club pool.

A different season, a different experience

One thing worth mentioning for future guests is that visiting in October felt quite different from our previous stay in July.

We noticed less variety in the buffets and a different restaurant rotation system, so it was important to check which restaurants were open each day and which dining concept was operating in each location.

The evening entertainment, shows, and parties were also noticeably different. We did not experience the same variety of performances and lively celebrations that we had enjoyed in July.

Of course, we understand that October is a quieter season. The weather may also have influenced the programme, as there had been rain before our arrival and we experienced several rainy evenings during our stay.

These differences did not prevent us from enjoying our holiday, but they are worth keeping in mind when choosing when to visit.

As with any resort, there is always room for improvement. A more personalized check-in for returning guests, greater attention to small housekeeping details, and more variety at Gohan would make an already lovely experience even better.

Would we return for a third visit? Absolutely, without hesitation!

Dreams Aventuras once again gave us wonderful family memories.

We appreciate the excellent facilities, the beautiful location, the improvements we noticed, and the fact that even after two visits, the resort still has more to offer and new experiences to discover.

But above all, it is the genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality of its people that make us want to return.

We sincerely hope the management recognizes the exceptional staff members mentioned above. They are the heart of this resort and the reason guests like us look forward to coming back.
