We feel that we could have enjoyed this trip more if the Barceló staff was friendlier. The food could have been better. When we go a vacation we are looking for excellence in our experience and we didn’t get that.

Nice resort
Barcelo is a nice resort, with good food and a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed our time there! Pools are heated and spacious!

The vacation that had it all!!
Our family just returned from an incredible 8-day stay at Barceló Maya Grand Palace, and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how absolutely beautiful the property is. The grounds are immaculate, the beaches are stunning, and everywhere you look feels like a tropical paradise.
The nightly entertainment was fantastic and gave us something to look forward to every evening. The shows were fun, energetic, and professionally done, making every night feel special.
The staff throughout the resort truly made our vacation memorable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel welcomed from start to finish.
There is no shortage of activities for every age. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, there’s something for everyone. We loved the jet skis, parasailing, banana boat rides, billiards, and all of the water activities available throughout the resort. Our kids stayed entertained the entire trip, and the adults had just as much fun.
The food exceeded every expectation! Breakfast became one of our favorite meals with delicious chilaquiles and custom-made omelets prepared exactly how we wanted them. Lunches by the pool were perfect with loaded nachos, burritos, soups, and fresh sandwiches. Dinner was outstanding every night, featuring everything from perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp and tender filet mignon to incredible grilled lobster, along with a wonderful selection of authentic Mexican cuisine. The hibachi restaurant was a definite highlight—the chef was not only entertaining but also incredibly talented, serving one of the best meals of our entire vacation.
Of course, no all-inclusive experience would be complete without the endless refreshing drinks for the adults and unlimited ice cream for the kids, both of which were enjoyed every single day!
After an amazing 8 days filled with great food, beautiful scenery, endless activities, and outstanding service, we left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Barceló Maya Grand Palace, for an unforgettable family vacation!
