Eva ciau and Celia and Arturo y Alex good services
Thank God for the amazing staff at Sensira because they truly made our experience so much better! There are a few people who absolutely deserve special recognition. Irving was one of the highlights of our trip! He greeted us every morning with the biggest smile and was so funny and witty. He always had us laughing. By the time we got to our table, he already knew what we were drinking before we even had to ask. That kind of attention and hospitality really stood out to us. Silvianno was also wonderful and took great care of us! Jesus from the Italian restaurant was amazing! He was extremely attentive, kind, friendly, and genuinely made our dinners more enjoyable. He had us laughing throughout the night and made us feel so welcome. Alberto by the pool was THE MAN! He was incredibly hardworking and attentive. He always made sure we had a drink, always had a huge smile on his face, and never made us feel forgotten. He honestly made our days lounging by the pool some of the best parts of the trip. And Jose and Daniel Lopez at the bar at night were hands down our best nighttime entertainment! 😂 they made sure the adults were having a great time, good drinks but what really stood out was how wonderful they were with the kids too. They kept them laughing, made them the best drinks, and entertained all of us every single night with their funny personalities. We looked forward to seeing him!
Unfortunately, the resort itself was disappointing in several areas. No one at check in gave us any sort of direction or information about the place. We stayed for 5 nights and there was not a single nighttime show during our stay. For an all-inclusive family resort, we expected much more entertainment. The evenings felt very boring, and there really wasn’t much to look forward to after dinner. Housekeeping was also a major disappointment. Our room never felt thoroughly cleaned. The floors were not properly swept, and there were times when we didn’t receive the correct number of clean towels or washcloths. For a resort at this price point, basic room cleanliness and fresh linens should not be something guests have to worry about. The Mexican restaurant was not good at all. They had run out of most of the entree and appetizers but to be in Mexico we expected the Mexican food to be the best! Our waitress Julia was The best part of that restaurant. She was so sweet and so kind. Overall, most of the staff were absolutely the best part of Sensira. Irving, Silvianno, Jesus, Alberto, Julia, Daniel and Jose are the reason our experience was as enjoyable as it was, and they deserve all the recognition. They brought the warmth, laughter, and hospitality that we had hoped to get from the resort as a whole. I just wish the hotel itself matched the level of service these incredible employees provided. With better housekeeping and significantly more entertainment, our experience could have been completely different.
The pool was closed for 5 of the 7 days we were there. When we tried the other pool we were covered in grinding dust from the maintenance crew from the pool that was closed. It would have been nice if they had let us know that they were going to be closing one of the pools but there was no clear communication. We were hoping to spend time in the pools since you can’t really enjoy the beach because of the sargassum on the beach. They closed the main buffet for dinner after our first night. We only had to eat at crowded restaurants. We could not just go to the buffet for a quick bite. They also cancelled night entertainment and told us to watch movies. It was not cheap for this resort. The location was not great, the road into the resort was riddled with craters both potholes. The person that checked us in told us that we had to pay $35 for the sargassum cleaning fee then when we questioned why was it not $26 when the reservation said it was so he then said it was because of the exchange rate and the lowered the fee to $30. We felt this was sketchy but gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Ana from the Italian restaurant was great!! She was extremely attentive and kind
Ana was great!!! Loved her and she sang happy birthday for my daughter! She was great and you should see her when you come to the Italian restaurant!
