Was not impressed.
Visiting late in November, there was a lot of rain. This was expected, but the road to the resort was a scary drive. There was water over the road in so many places, there were giant holes in the road that could swallow a van, and the road is very narrow so two larger vehicles passing is scary. This road has been topic of discussion for 2 years now and it is still not fixed. The resort was beautiful. We stayed in a family suite and it had a small room that had a set of bunk beds and a trundle so it truly fit a family of 5. The problem I had with the room, was there was no door to the giant bathroom, which wouldn’t be a problem, but the shower is glass and you can see it as soon as you walk in the room. The staff was great. They were helpful and smiling. The food was average. I was not truly impressed with any of it. Most of the time it was lukewarm. The pools were cold and the beach was covered with sargassum. There were so many kids activities. The zip line was fun, the teen lounges were great, the little movie theater was nice too.
Best hotel
Danny Diaz and Carlos are the best bartenders. They both make the best drinks friendly people you ever meet . I give them both Five Stars they are extremely friendly, funny, and because they made us feel extremely welcome at the lobby and in the pool bar. I Will definitely come back because of their service.
