Great family vacation
Our family just returned from an incredible stay at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, and I have to recognize our butlers, Alex and Rick. They truly went above and beyond every single day.
We had a large family vacation with nine people, and they made everything so much easier. They checked in on us, helped with reservations, answered every question quickly, and always made us feel like valued guests.
One thing that really stood out was when my husband wanted Michelob Ultra. Alex and Rick arranged for 120 large cans to be picked up from Walmart and delivered to our room. They handled everything flawlessly, saving us so much time and hassle. It was service far beyond what we expected.
They were friendly, professional, responsive, and genuinely cared that our family had a great vacation. Because of their outstanding service, we tipped them well, and they deserved every bit of it.
This was our second stay at Royalton, and Alex and Rick made it even more memorable. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend requesting them as your butlers. They truly helped make this one of the best family vacations we’ve had.

Our stay at Royalton Splash Cancun was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to Cristian and Gonzalo. They were absolutely phenomenal who went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our vacation was perfect. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality exceeded all of our expectations. No request was ever too much, and they always greeted us with a smile, making us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our stay. Cristian and Gonzalo delivered exceptional service from start to finish, and they truly made our experience one to remember. We will definitely be requesting them again on our next visit. Thank you both for your outstanding dedication and for making our vacation so special. We can't wait to come back!

Good time
One thing I would say is the staff made all the difference. Dulce/Andres our room attendants/concierge were amazing. Nathaniel at breakfast (Rio) and Lesli and Bianca at Grazie
Royalton splash cancun
Amazing resort, amazing staff Our butlers Victor and Israel were brilliant. We got married here too and our wedding coordinator Marielos was amazing too. Don't listen to bad reviews this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at,so much choice for food and drink clean and friendly. Leon the entertainment/bar staff was brilliant too, We never wanted to leave absolutely beautiful place.
Still a really good hotel
It is still a good hotel, just no where as near as good as it was 2 years ago when I last stayed there , I just came back from 10 day trip last week , it feels like they were on top of there game 2 years ago and now they have cut corners with everything, no where near as clean , buffet food and snack bars where good still ,
Rio had reduced amount of meat , and increased amount of chicken and other things,
My room was never cleaned properly this time, definitely not to 5 star , I checked under my beds as we had a scorpion in our room when we woke up one morning, I killed it but asked them to clean the room properly and obviously checked the full room almost everyday and it was never cleaned properly, so much mess under the beds ,
Dimond club pool had a massive rip in one of the day beds pool side (spoiled my picture) but just looked messy,
Even know the sea weed was bad sometimes there were on top of it quickly,
Overall I think it around a 4 star now,
