The staff make this almost new resort worth visiting
An amazing week with friends hosted by an almost brand new resort. It’s just the right size and at the time we went (Sept 2026) it was maybe at 1/2 capacity which made it even better. Easy to make reservations at restaurants, always loungers available, not long waits for drinks… That capacity also seemed to dim the nightlife a little Landshark is the only evening option and had rarely more than 25 people in there and we were a group of 5. Can’t really blame them as guests enjoying the free flowing drinks all day seldom make it past 9 pm. The personal concierge service was exceptional. Regina T was the woman I dealt with. Her associate Valeria was also available should I not be able to locate Regina Amazing doesn’t begin to describe the level of service provided. If she didn’t have the answer she would get back to my promptly. The spa was empty when I went up for hydrotherapy and massage. Perfect way to chill out, alone in a spa.
Honest review september 2026
Location....is great 30 mins transfer from cancun airport and right on the sea front. There is no beach still due to the hurricanes previously. But still a great location for going to cancun. Atmosphere.....relaxed and calm great for couples. However not much in the way of entertainment. Some bits round the main pool in the day. The foam party was fun but otherwise its a bit repetitive and sometimes the music round the pool is just loud for the sake of being loud. There are other pools and areas where you can sit which would be quieter. There is no real evening entertainment other than a few bits in the Landshark bar but again a bit lacklustre. We were in bed early most nights as a bit bored. Rooms....are lovely, very spacious, comfy beds, nice big balconies we got one in the evening sun so that was nice. Tvs have some sky channels, showers are huge. We sometimes struggled with hot water on an evening. The cleaners are lovely and do a great job. The mini bar is a fun way of doing it. You get points for the week and get to spend them in Joe's Merchant store so you can choose your own mini bar and the cleaners always top up bottled water in your fridge. Cleanliness.....fantastic absolutely no faults here at all. Its spotlessly clean throughout the whole hotel and the main lobby smells like a spa. Food.....well we visited out of season so the hotel is not at full occupancy and the main buffet restaurant was only open for breakfast and then evenings from Thursday to Sunday. This doesn't leave a lot of choice. Lunch there is the Landshark or Licence to Chill bar but both only have quite small menus. In the evenings it was only the JWB steakhouse or the Italian which you need to make reservations for but again can just get a little repetitive. Its nice food, cooked well with good flavour but just a bit boring to be going either or 5 nights out of your holiday. Overall.....gorgeous hotel, very very clean, comfy beds, great cocktails and drinks, lacking in choice for evening meals, lacking in entertainment in the evenings and would be nice for an outdoor bar in an evening, great location, staff who can't do enough for you. Would we come back.....probably not as just not enough here but we still had a great time and made the most of our time

Breakfast team are always incredible. Cannot do enough for you and so friendly and polite. Antony served us most mornings and was a delight, very attentive and funny.
