Excellence Riviera Cancun

I am so glad we booked this resort. The grounds are beautiful, the resort is well maintained, and every single employee just wanted to know what they could do to make your stay better. I felt so spoiled and pampered staying on the club side. Get the swim out room - absolute must! The sargussum was smelly at times, but honestly, not anything that really detracted from our stay. We spent many hours lounging on the beach and enjoying the quiet sounds of the waves. The food was solid, with a few standout dishes being excellent. Don’t skip the wings at the sports bar. Drinks aren’t strong, but you can top them up with the full bar that comes included in your room. The beach and poolside menu was fine, but we found ordering room service to be so much better for lunch. If you’re considering staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

We went to the resort for our honeymoon and the stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was amazing and treated us so well. Oswaldo on the entertainment team remembered our names from the first time that he met us and took the time to chat with us whenever he saw us. The rooms were kept very clean and the staff that took care of the rooms made sure to come back on the few times that we were still in the room and they were doing rounds. The food tasted delicious and each of the restaurants felt true to what they were aiming for. And once again, Hector who was our server on the first night that we were there remembered us when he saw us again. The sargassum made it so that we couldn't get in the ocean but we still enjoyed sitting on the beach our lounging at the pool. For what we paid, I doubt that there would be another resort that provides anywhere close to the same service and value.
