Almost perfection!
Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect! When we got to our villa (And we got a whole villa, even though I made 2 separate reservations for 5 of us), it was decorated for my birthday, even though nobody in our party notified the resort of the occasion. That kind of attention to detail is what people remember for a lifetime. Aside from that, service at the pool, La Palapa (with only one exception), Kinoko, Los Murales and The Rotunda was really second to none. Food quality was excellent even in the eyes of my somewhat foodie son-in-law. I would say a couple of disappointments (understandable due to low occupancy and the fact that it's so close to maintenance week) was no dinner buffet option on "Mexican night." That's where I like to try a little bit of every regional food option, and I missed that! Also, some dessert options listed on the menu were not available - like creme brulee. The activity staff was also exceptional, especially Marco and Hector, but all of them were great! The villa was immaculate, and the whole resort is well maintained. We had a great 4 days!

We had a great time like usual we’re owners and we look forward to coming back every other year every year we spend at least two weeks at the Royal Hacienda and next year we’ll spend two weeks at the Royal Sands my brother and I own two weeks of both places like usual. It’s always such a good time.

Another great vacation at the Royal Haciendas
Always an amazing time at the Royal Haciendas. The staff is amazing. We love how close it is to Play del Carmen so we can go out into the city for dinner and shopping. You can relax by the pool or go to the spa for a wonderful massage. It is also great for families with kids. Everyone is friendly and kids play or go to kids' club. This is our 20th year there!

Poor service and no beach option. Transportation took us to the wrong terminal and then wanted to charge us extra to bring us to the correct terminal
