Tentative and friendly staff!
We had an amazing time! The extra special staff who were so kind and remarkable were Alfonso and the entertainment team, Julio, Fredy and Eduardo are amazing bartenders! The rooms are dated and lack amenities while the buffet lacks variety. The property is clean and the maintenance team is always tending to the landscape and beach sand. They are very strict to excess the gated community of Playacar, so be prepared to ask for a QR access code.

Clean and welcoming
The hotel is very clean, the staff is warm and welcoming but nobody beats Julio at « la Chiquita » bar on the beach!

One of the best weeks of our lives
We came for 8 days rooms are clean and updated the staff is very friendly we loved Alfonso, Freddy & Enrique. The food is way better then what we ate at barcelo maya tropical (huge resort) and the reef being a smaller resort makes it way easier to get around and you will never get lost. The mariachi band was amazing lots to do here volleyball on beach 2 ping-pong tables at one of the pools the other pool has 2 official basket ball nets and the roof top bar has 2 pool tables and a Foosball table we really loved this resort I'd rate it a 10 star if it allowed more then 5 stars we will definitely be back hopeful every year oh and being so close to pkaya del carmen makes walks and adventures that much easier
