Fabulous “chill” resort. Smaller resort with plenty of attentive, courteous staff. Rooms are large, clean and beds are comfortable with plenty of great pillows. Located in quiet community. Walkable to shopping and restaurants. Taxi service available too. Right on beach

Perfect Staff Experience
My wife and I just stayed here for our honeymoon. I can confidently say our stay at Sunset was the best week of my life. Everyone here was incredible and made the experience super fun and easy. Marcos (que onda güeyyyy!!!) and Eugenis were wonderful at the bar and made sure we were always taken care of. Lupita and Andy were amazing as activity guides, they kept the experience super engaging to the extent we didn’t end up going on an excursion. Our dining experience was perfect all week, and everyone who took care of us was lovely. Special thanks to Samuel, Ivan, Ramiro, Rigo, Jose Luis, Benita, and Armando for taking care of our needs constantly. Oscar and Javier were incredible as our chefs, I’m still dreaming about the breakfast omelettes on demand. Georgina and Valeria and everyone else at reception were super kind and helpful in making sure everything about our stay was all set perfectly, and Marco made sure to take care of our local souvenir needs up front. Also want to thank Ana and Manuel for always making sure we had a good experience at the pool and in the water. We also got a couples massage at the spa, and it was the best massage either of us ever received. I would recommend this spot to anyone who needs a relaxing and perfectly comfortable vacation!

Good Times at Sunset Fishermen
The Sunset Fishermen staff was very friendly, fun and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying with them again. I want to include everyone but may miss some names. Lupita, Samuel, Jose Luis, Ivan, Ramiro, Armenis, Captain Andy all were very memorable. They were all were very accommodating to all of our needs and desires.

We had the best vacation! Everyone was so nice & accommodating. Samual, Argenis, Jose, Ramiro, Iven, Armando, Marco, & Benita, Rigoberto, did a fabulous job waiting on us & making our experience so much fun. The food & drinks were amazing & everyone did a great job introducing us to new things. The rooms were clean, the price was great & the atmosphere was great. I’m so glad we stayed here. What a great experience!!

We had such an amazing sailboat experience with our family! A huge thank you to Andy for making our trip extra special. He was very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment.
Our son Reyshian especially had so much fun! Andy was so kind and patient with him, which we really appreciated. Seeing our son so happy made the experience even more memorable for us as parents.
