Very calm and good if you just want to relax.
Everyone was very nice. The beach views were beautiful.The best restaurant is Azai and they made a decent MaiTai. Everywhere else the drinks weren't great compared to other resorts. They don't have much entertainment and not much of a nightlife. We did enjoy the casino night and the karaoke night. If you're looking to relax and not leave the resort and prefer a very calm time, this is for you. My husband and I are active and enjoy day and night activities. We are in our late 40's and most of the guest are in their 60's. We enjoyed our vacation time here.

Amazing Resort!
We had such and amazing time at Royal Hideaway. The staff was amazing and the place was beautiful. Really great place if you just want to sit back and relax. Very peaceful environment. The food was also amazing and so delicious. It was all of great quality and taste. Would definitely come back.

Very quiet and reserved it is well located in playa car. it is very clean and safe community. You have to travel to see the "real" Mexico

43rd Wedding Anniversary
Amazing trip. The staff are all super friendly. Can't wait to return. Rikki and Carlos are amazing. Food and drinks yummy and refreshing.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Royal Hideaway’s “Grill” restaurant this evening. The food was excellent, and wait staff superb. Carlos Quintal was one of the staff members along with Jose our primary waiter. Both gentlemen provided extraordinary service ensuring our dining experience was truly perfect. Their attention to every detail was on point and immediate in a restaurant packed with guests. No easy task, but they served with dignity, sincerity, and grace. Bravo gentleman, bravo!
