Another relaxing week at the Royal Hideaway
Friendly staff everywhere. Ricardo from spices, conseige from block 25, young guy from the towel place everyone went out of their way to ensure our needs were met.

Great staff, beautiful grounds, ocean was unusable but we knew that before we booked. we still enjoyed our stay.
Royal Hideaway Playacar - Average
I have been to many all-inclusive resorts and Royal Hideaway Playacar is just average. The rooms and swimming pools are in need of an update. Food was ok but at times not very flavorful or the portions were extremely small. Liquors and resulting drinks were just meh. Landscaping was beautiful and staff was mostly friendly but hard to offset the rest.

Lovely Vacation
Loved the cleanliness and staff. Our room was exactly what I wanted. Ricky Rosas was very helpful and professional whenever needed. I would recommend him to anyone if they were to book at your hotel.
Wedding Anniversary Special Holiday
The accommodation and cleanliness of this resort is fantastic. Dropped a star as communication at reception on arrival didn't advise how the hotel operates (such as dinner must be prebooked every night) and subsequent visits to reception also lacked warmth and assistance so we were at times a little disappointed. Concierge Sarahi in our building was most helpful and always had a smile and greeting but it was unfortunate on our 1st 2 days was on her well earned days off but when working all great. It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and husbands birthday whilst here and our room was decorated bith days and was acknowledged in greeting.
