Playacar en Playa del Carmen es INCREIBLE!!
Wow - just wow. We LOVED this resort. Literally every staff member was kind, friendly, and beyond helpful. The staff worked really hard to ensure our experiences here were incredible. We loved chatting with Alejandra in the café and Karla and Alejandro at the Trattoria. Everything was clean, beautiful, and we had a truly memorable experience. We would love to come back soon! ¡Gracias, Playacar!!!!
Absolutely amazing hotel all in!
We have had an amazing experience. Ok seaweed smells and it’s ugly but it’s nature and it is not the hotels fault or in the control of the property. They provide room aroma and try their very best to counter clean it on the beach so it doesn’t spoil the view. The staff are just perfecto! Perla’s and Roberto poolside, Latinos in the lounge bar will ensure your glass is never empty unless you wish it to be! They do not harass and are so respectful, always! Mono restaurant was our family favourite, we chose to eat there 3 nights out of 10 and had a different, amazing experience each time! Our kids were made very welcome in kids club and despite being 10 and 12 both found friends and good fun! The evening entertainment was also fab, we didn’t know where to find it at first but loved watching the World Cup and the whole entertainment team made our stay very enjoyable! Guest services were so good, they really explained everything so well! We didn’t 3 trips and were all based on advice from staff, they really do know what they are recommending, trust them! We can’t wait to return to another palace resort elsewhere in the world but we will be sure to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mexico!
Playacar - Exceptional Service and Staff
Our family had an amazing time at Playacar Palace! The exceptional service we received from our pool server, Perla Rodriguez, and our Momo server, Olivia, was truly the highlight of our trip. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay.
We can’t say enough about the kindness, professionalism, and outstanding hospitality of the entire staff. Perla and Olivia made our family feel genuinely special, and their warmth and attentiveness created memories we’ll always remember. We highly recommend Playacar Palace!
Family Pool time
Hotel - rooms were clean and well kept. The pool is cool most days. It gets warm as the day gets warm, but unlike other places it seems like they put cold water in which is key. Other resorts are bath warm.
The staff was amazing, so kind, and helpful. PERLA took care of us at the pool while the kids played in the Play room. Odette and Yareley did an amazing job taking care of our kids ages 4 and 9. They kept them busy and they never wanted to leave, coloring, games, tattoos, face paint, air hockey, amazing!
Momo has better food, the buffet was acceptable, room service pretty quick and good.
The beach is closed right now, so don't come if you want beach time.
You can walk to a shopping area, so dont buy anything from the hotel store.
