Playacar Palace All Inclusive

We are just waiting for our flight home after 10 wonderful days at this resort

I will say I think this hotel is more suited to the American visitors who stay for around 5 days as the hotel is small in comparison to other resorts and has a small buffet and a few ala carte restaurants and just a few evenings of entertainment. The uk travellers who normally stay for 14 nights may miss the shows and multiple restaurants that a large complex offers. However for us it was perfect we wanted a quiet chilled out relaxing holiday and that is what we got.

The property is spotless and our room was serviced to a very good standard.

The buffet restaurant was one of the best we have experienced. The dishes were small and therefore were warm and exchanged frequently. The salads were amazing a wonderful selection of fresh salad varieties. Every meal we had was good quality. The desserts. Wow let’s just say I need to eat a few salads once back home to get rid of any extra pounds ha ha. Special mention to Andy who greeted us every day with a smile and quickly knew our names. Also waiters Isreal Roberto and Alfredo who took good care of us.

We also ate at the Italian twice madre mia three times. Momo tapanyaki also we did the Mayan meal Lahna this is a fantastic experience and the waiters/ guide were so knowledgeable. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Transportation both to and from the airport was on time and trouble free and a nice touch for this to be provided as part of the service.

The staff around the pool area were fab drinks arrived frequently we tended to be at the side near momo and the lady who looked after us was excellent. I feel guilty I can’t remember her name but she always referred to me as honey she was a treasure.

So as you can probably guess the staff make this hotel top class and I hope that I can return one day

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff and good location. Wonderful food and accommodation. Slightly let down by a very small beach which happened to be covered in a mountain of seaweed.

Always finding ourselves to have the most fabulous vacation at Playacar Palace, this trip has been no different! The entire staff greets us like family and makes every day so wonderful.

One department has been an integral part of this fabulous vacation, leading us to extend it 4 more days. They have seen to every detail in making sure we are happy! We have not once looked back after becoming Palace Diamond members because of their care, their constant effort to every detail, and their extreme professionalism. They are the Diamond Concierge team here at Playacar Palace. Each and every employee in the DC department has seen to our vacation being the exceptional time it has been.

Marvin and Ignacio have made sure our time at the pool has been perfect. From prepared lounge chairs, to dry towels, buckets full of water, and shade by the umbrellas. They do a wonderful job everyday in the heat of Playa.

Dalia and Ivan are truly incredible DC's. From before our arrival they are taking care of many details to make our arrival a smooth and relaxing one. Once we have arrived, their service is non-stop, seeing that we have everything needed in room, at dinners, or just making sure we are enjoying ourselves to the fullest.

Veronica is incredible keeping all our plans put together by arranging spa time, excursions, and answering many questions about our choices.

Eder keeps this team running smoothly. If there is 10 or 100 Diamond members visiting, he is sure to have his team making you feel as you are the only ones here. He is happy to serve every guest with the utmost care, making sure your vacation is the best possible. He truly leads his team by example serving guests in any capacity he can. The Diamond Concierge team at Playacar Palace is truly remarkable.
