An Unforgettable Stay at Paradisus La Perla
Our stay at Paradisus La Perla has been nothing short of exceptional. We travel often and have been blessed to visit destinations all over the world, but this experience truly stands out. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued.
A special thank you to Antonio, who was the very first person to welcome us to the resort. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel at home. He took the time to guide us through the resort, answer every question with patience, and made sure we started our vacation feeling comfortable and excited. His intentional care set the tone for everything that followed.
We also want to recognize Angelo, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. His attention to detail and intentional hospitality were unlike anything we’ve experienced. He consistently checked in on us, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and made sure every part of our stay was memorable. He didn’t simply provide great service, he created an experience that made us feel like family. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares the way Angelo does, and his dedication made our first visit to Paradisus La Perla unforgettable.
Another incredible team member was Yasuky, our pool server. She was absolutely amazing. Her kindness, attentiveness, and positive attitude made every day by the pool even more enjoyable. She constantly went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed while always serving with a smile. She truly elevated our experience.
The atmosphere throughout the resort exceeded every expectation we had. After an incredibly busy year, this was exactly the place we needed to recharge, rest, and reconnect. Every detail, from the beautiful grounds to the peaceful environment, helped us leave feeling refreshed in every way.
The restaurants are outstanding, offering high-quality food with incredible variety, beautiful presentation, and excellent service. The entertainment each day and evening was engaging and well done, and every staff member we encountered contributed to making this resort feel welcoming and special.
Many people talk about the sargassum in Playa del Carmen. While it’s true that this season brings more seaweed to the beach, it honestly did not take away from our experience at all. There was no unpleasant smell at the resort, and with the incredible pools, exceptional service, and countless activities available, we never felt like we were missing anything. There is still so much to enjoy here.
Every dollar spent at Paradisus La Perla is worth it. The people are what truly make this place extraordinary. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care create an experience that goes far beyond a luxury vacation.
If you’re considering visiting Playa del Carmen, don’t let the conversations about sargassum discourage you. There is so much beauty, relaxation, and unforgettable hospitality waiting for you here that you simply won’t regret it.

Beautiful resort with great service
Put family of four really enjoyed the resort. The service was great and we all had a good time!
Poor restaurant scheduling
The restaurants at this resort were scheduled on an app that is run very poorly, could not schedule dinner for our 35 anniversary. The food quality is great if you can get in.

Paradise!
We enjoyed our stay again at Paradisus La Perla. The staff is amazing. The Reserve has wonderful accommodations and amenities. The resort promotes relaxation. The food is great. We found the entertainment has changed recently. There is limited entertainment with the resort focusing on relaxation. It was wonderful to be pampered by our amazing concierge, Roberto, and the staff. Victor, Rene and Angelo kept our drinks filled and chairs made at the Reserve pool. It was a great time of relaxation and rest.
Mayan Herbal Class — LOVE!!!
Eduardo taught the medicine herbal class and he was so nice! You can tell that he really enjoys what he does and has a genuine passion to make others feel good with natural practices. He is also very knowledgeable!
