Ocean Riviera Paradise El Beso

Where to begin. We just left Ocean Riviera Paradise along with our 7 month old daughter. We were slightly apprehensive about visiting given how young she is, but the whole stay from start to finish was absolutely fantastic & we loved the resort, food, staff & everything in between. The staff truly made our stay so special and we would like to give a special mention to them for making our trip so memorable.

Mikes Coffee We had the pleasure of meeting Isabel quite early on in our stay. We visited Mikes Coffee everyday and without fail Isabel was straight over chatting to us & making sure our daughter was doing well. A really nice & professional person, who is a credit the whole resort.

Lobby Bar One of our favourite hangout spots in the evening. We were lucky to cross paths with Guillermo, Joaquin & Suceli. 3 really great people that served us our drinks and were always on hand to have a chat and help us out with anything we needed or questions we had.

Jellys We loved taking our daughter to Jelly’s in the afternoon for family time. Litzy was a star and always so happy to see us and look after our daughter whilst she played with all the children’s toys.

Privilege pool Our favourite pool. Lizbet looked after us really well at the pool with her table service and friendly personality.

Privilege Lounge A great spot for breakfast & dinner. We were lucky to be served by David on a couple of occasions and he is a great waiter and very professional. Chef Yun also makes a fantastic steak!

Butler Alan our butler was great & very reactive if we needed extra water or dinner reservations or had any problems in general.

Other staff Whilst neither were our butler – we had the pleasure of meeting Lilliana and Rosa (who are also butlers). Both showed so much care and attention to our daughter and Lilliana would come over to see us everyday to see how we were doing & just generally have a chat. Again, both are a credit to the resort.

Overall we cannot wait to visit Ocean Riveria Paradise again next year. We are already in the process of booking. The resort is fantastic, but for us it was the staff mentioned above that made our stay so special.

Amazing experience in this hotel, I was truly stunned with the attention!! I have a ton of food allergies and have Diabetes t1, and I had absolutely no issues with eating despite all that and being a picky eater. They also give you the option of getting asistence for choosing your meals or asking the chef to prepare specific things, wich I didn't need since there was already a lot of food but is definitely a great thing. The staff is super nice and attentive of your needs and there is always someone free to attend you with anything. The activities and nightly shows are awesome too! Especially the Retro Show, the singer (Kenia, from the nightly shows) was so nice 🥹 and because I enjoy performances, she inspired me, and the dancers were coordinated and very energetic!! <3 (Retro Show nightly dancers). Everyone in this hotel is just SO charismatic and likable, they will literally give you princess treatment!! Things like the water park and beach were really fun too! I would definitely recommend coming here, specially if you have a lot of allergies or a condition that needs extra attention, just make sure you mention it to the staff or to the Guest Experience service!!

A very spacious resort with plenty to do. We came with no expectations re the beach, its been covered many times. If you want a beach then go elsewhere. This is a big resort with a lot of employees, they all work very hard but there were some standouts for us... Miguel the pool guy at privilege was fantastic so helpful and upbeat, going the extra mile and always smiling. Priveledge pool swim up staff Hector and Anthonhi. Maria the waitress in the buffet, Hevor and David in the privilege restaurant. Yuri the wonderful chef, the food in the privilege lounge was fantastic. We had upgraded to Privilege before arrival and we had our own butler Pool. He was great, in contact every day and so helpful with reservations and other little bits. He also decoratored our room on my husbands birthday a lovely touch. Lots of pools to choose from some more scratchy than others on the feet. Annoyingly they were all quite warm ( to be expected with the heat and humidity) Lobby and piano bar were nice, the privilege bar and resturant in our opinion was well worth the upgrade. Buffet was nice and varied, steakhouse and the Japanese our favourites we did not enjoy the mexican resturant food at all. Tried the italian there was pressure to upgrade wines, food was ok but didnt want to go there again. Mikes coffee shop was a good place to visit with some interesting options and lovely cake. Rooms were a little tired, thats where I think they could do with some upgrades. AC was good, there was an odour of mustiness in all the rooms but def more in the garden view rooms which are also quite dark. Luckily they agreed to us changing our rooms to pool view which made a big difference. Sunbeds except pool 4 you could bag a spot by 9am often later. Not sure about Daisy pool it looked very busy when we went past, El Beso was pretty empty. Things I think were usefull and should have brought with me.... movable towel hooks to hang wet clothes on balcony. Thermal cups for hot and cold drinks Getting smaller denominations for pesos was a challenge, dollars would have been easier. Overall we had a great time, ate and drank far too much but why not its a holiday.
