Fiesta Inn continues to evolve, transform, and innovate its Business Class hotel concept. With a fresh, modern image and new facilities, Fiesta Inn Playa del Carmen is the perfect example of business accommodations done right. Designed to encourage creativity and productivity, the hotel's spaces are functional yet friendly, allowing guests to be connected while remaining independent. Today's Fiesta Inn is more than simply a hotel; it is a community of professionals who thrive on success. The hotel, located just one street over from the famous Fifth Avenue, offers 129 guest rooms, 24-hour room service, high-speed Internet, fitness center, dry cleaning service, covered parking, and the 360° Lounge which is home to La Isla restaurant, B-On Business Center, and the convenience store and self-service area. Service dogs are permitted.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed here one night at the beginning of an Intrepid tour. We tried to check in at 2:15 pm, but we were told the rooms would not be ready until 3 pm check-in time. At 3 pm, one of our rooms was ready, but not the other one. At 3:30 pm, both rooms were ready. However, the floors were recently mopped and slippery and our shoes made dirt tracks across the wet tile floor.
There were two rooftop pools and a fitness center on the fourth floor of the hotel. The pool was closed when I tried to swim in the morning. Instead, I used the weights and treadmill. The breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection and an omelet station. I slept terribly for two reasons. There was very loud music (either at the pool or nearby club) until past 2 am. Also, the pillows were huge and made my head tilt at an awkward angle. I would call it a mixed experience at best.
The hotel has an amazing appearance on the front desk and reception. The staff is friendly but I had some problems: . WiFi is terrible. Keeps disconnecting every other minute. . TV Channel did not work at all . Couple bedroom are small . Toilet door does not close at all
Headline: $48k MXN for a week of cold showers and management who didn’t care.
We just finished a week-long stay (Dec 24–31) with a family of 5 (2 rooms), and it was an absolute disaster. Despite paying top $$$, the "Business Class" label at this Fiesta Inn is a total farce.
The Dealbreaker: For 6 out of 7 days, we had freezing cold showers with almost no water pressure. For a family with four girls, this made the vacation miserable.
The Service: We complained daily to the managers on both shifts. They would nod, pretend to listen, and then do absolutely nothing. It took two days of constant pressure just to get moved to a different room, only for the hot water to fail in that room as well. Once that happened, the staff simply stopped engaging with us. They offered zero compensation and showed zero empathy.
The Rooms (Room 306,308 & 311 ) are Dated: The furniture and facilities feel old and worn.
No Fridges: Basic amenities are missing.
Bizarre Layout: The sink is literally in the middle of the bedroom, not in the bathroom.
We have traveled to over 20 countries and stayed in everything from budget hostels to luxury resorts—this was, by far, the worst management experience we have ever had.
Booked in here for the start of our tour, this is a hard one, books are good, breakfast was not great, most a dinner menu for us, and Resturant stuck in lobby, rooftop bar had no wine, little beer and overall service there was bad. If I had a choice I would not stay here again
Very nice, modern hotel. Short walking distance to Playa del Carmen beach and the famous 5th street with shops, bars, restaurants, and great people watching. The hotel has a very good buffet breakfast; rooms are spacious and modern. I highly recommend Fiesta Inn Playa del Carmen…HOWEVER: bring earplugs. All the rooms face the ocean and the close proximity to 5th street bars means it is VERY noisy starting around 9pm and lasting way beyond 2am.
