Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We were not advised well by our UK travel agent and stayed here for two weeks; we should definitely have not stayed more than a week at most. The beach is spectacular but there was no life guard on duty and as the sea gets deep quite quickly even as a very strong swimmer I was apprehensive about going out far. The charge to go snorkelling on the reef was ridiculous until we found a local tour company who came and picked us up. The food was quite repetitive and so we went out a few times or ordered varieties of the menu. The breakfast was sensational! There was an issue with our room when we arrived late at night and they upgraded us which was kind. There is a smell to the rooms which I think is the aircon! I didn’t always feel the rooms were as clean as they could be and some of the bath mates were stained. The hotel staff were fabulous and so helpful and lovely. There was no manager to be seen throughout our visit which was appalling. What really spoilt the visit was an American wedding party who took over the hotel for three days. Drones taking footage on the beach, noisy speeches at an evening drinks, with microphones, which took place right by the pool and main restaurants. It totally ruined the atmosphere. There was no warning and no apology. For a few nights this hotel is great but two weeks is way too long.
My husband and I recently visited Chablé Maroma, and we had an incredible stay. I'm in the luxury travel industry, and I have to say this place is truly up there.
One of the things we loved most was the privacy. Every villa feels completely secluded, and with the resort only having 70 villas, it has such an exclusive and peaceful feel. The beach is beautiful, clean, and private, with no nearby traffic or neighboring resorts. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The attention to detail was amazing. Housekeeping and turndown service always came while we were out of our villa, without us even having to mention our schedule. The staff was friendly while also being extremely professional, and they genuinely wanted to help. Every interaction ended with, "Please let us know if there's anything else you need," and they truly meant it!
We had an amazing experience. If you're looking for luxury and privacy, I would absolutely say this is one of the best resorts in Riviera Maya.
We had a wonderful stay at Chable Maroma. The hotel is beautiful, the food and drinks were fantastic, and the staff are lovely and truly care about your experience.
I stayed three nights with my wife and we loved the place. The grounds are very beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Everything was excellent and the service was top class. I greatly appreciate the team for making my stay here memorable and special.
This beautiful hotel situated on a long white deserted sandy beach has incredible food and service. We come back every year as we love it. The rooms are very large, well designed and comfortable. You should know that none of them have a sea view. They are all at the back of the property in the jungle but I like that you wake up with the birds and green all around. I prefer the upstairs ones, even though the plunge pool is smaller, because I like to see the sky and feel the breeze. (They are cheaper too)
The beach is wonderful but not fabulous for swimming as there can be seaweed but the pool is very close and divine. You can walk miles and miles on the beach. The Spa is exceptional, steam and hot and cold tubs are included but the rest is ouch expensive. Staff everywhere super helpful and charming.
