Modern Comfort and a Special Touch from Abraham!
The Vibe: If you’re looking for a hotel that perfectly balances modern style with spotless cleanliness, this is it. The design is sleek and contemporary, and you can tell the management prioritizes keeping the entire property in top-notch shape.
The Food: Don't skip the breakfast! It was easily one of the highlights of our mornings—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and a great atmosphere to fuel up before heading out.
The Service (The "Abraham" Factor): What really elevated our stay from "great" to "exceptional" was Abraham from the housekeeping team. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely friendly and professional.
Super Accommodating: He was incredibly mindful of our schedule, making sure our room was taken care of without ever clashing with our plans.
The Talent: We were blown away by his creative towel sculptures! Finding a new "masterpiece" on the bed each day was a highlight we genuinely looked forward to.
It’s the people like Abraham who make a hotel feel like a home away from home. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Amazing location and services
I'm on my 8th night at this property and I have 1 more night before going back home. The hotel is very well located, 3 blocks from the beach, 1 block from famous 5th Avenue and has grocery store and restaurants within the same plaza building. My room was one of the splash suites, I really enjoyed it. The staffs are amazing, from Ana at the breakfast buffet, to Marcelo at the pool bar and Abraham my room attendant, everyone was welcoming and I had an amazing time. Thank you for making my vacation so memorable!

Great value for money but……
Just a week. B & B basis.Positives-central position,great supermarket below the hotel,free safe,free bottle of water a day,great pool areas on the roof,king sized bed and great walk in shower,free coffee machine and small fridge in room,both breakfast and pool areas open until 11pm at night. Negatives-Bacon at breakfast extra (5 greasy slices only) !,no shaving mirror in bathroom (although hairdryer provided) ,no wardrobe-You hang your clothes on a small rail with 6 coat hangers only,beach towels $25 per week deposit (refunded when leaving),balcony chairs very uncomfortable!. No smoking anywhere on site.If you do smoke outside areas of local bars only.

Amazing location, great value for money
What a great find. The location is phenominal just a 5 min walk to the main area with all the bars, restaurants and small boho shops. Literally couldn’t ask for a better location. Hotel is clean, bright and well organised. Staff are friendly. Rooms are lovely. Roof terrace is amazing with an infinity pool. And even the gym is great, some real thought put into the equipment which is unusual for a hotel. Overall this is an amazing hotel, great value for money and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful getaway
I had a wonderful 7 night stay at Aloft Playa Del Carmen. The check-in was very good and smooth. The pictures of the rooftop pool did not do it justice. It was lovely. The staff at the pool were friendly and efficient. The breeze on the rooftop and the infinity pool was incredible. Special mention to the front desk staff: Valerie during the day and Jesus in the evening. Valerie was so friendly and helpful with recommendations and Jesus was not only friendly but especially concerned and helpful when another guest hurt herself outside of the hotel. I was upgraded to a balcony room which was cleaned everyday, everything I needed and spacious. I will definitely be back.
