1st time at the Allegro Playacar
I've been to Playa del Carmen numerous of times, this is my first time at the Allegro Playacar and it was awesome. Perfect size resort, no loud drunk people, nice landscape, friendly staff members. The buffet food was really good. I would highly recommend this resort. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the all sargassum, but that can't be controlled unfortunately. Thank you Allegro Playacar for a delightful week.

Great trip
Well maintained. Staff were attentive, professional and friendly everywhere. Won’t go hungry or be sober your whole trip if that’s what you’re looking for. Drinks service in the beach was amazing!!! Very accessible for wheelchair or mobility scooter users. Just a note, transportation to and from the resort is very expensive $140+ round trip, no matter if you’re using the hotel transportation or private taxi.
Allegro in Playacar
Best location 20 minutes from Play del Carmen. Near shops and ferry to Cozumel.The hotel is very simple and has Mexican vibes . The food was not bad but nothing exciting.No many options. In general good value for money. Rosalba
No Frills Experience
The staff aren’t on the same page about the daily programming. You can’t swim in the ocean because it is disgusting. The food was not good. The entertainment was bland. The pools were dirty.

lovely stay in Mexico, I came to have some dental work performed. This was a lovely place and the people take pride in making your stay enjoyable and fun.
