Allegro Playacar All Inclusive Resort

This resort is on the smaller side which was perfect for us. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond with their service. I have a dairy allergy and the chef actually took me around to all the food items in the buffet and explained which foods were safe for me to eat and which ones were not. I asked for soy milk for my cereal at breakfast and the next day, the staff remembered and automatically delivered soy milk to our table. Our room was cleaned and restocked regularly. There were many poolside activities that we enjoyed. On our last day, they had a small breakfast buffet (coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit) for those of us departing. That was a nice touch which we have never experienced at other resorts. There was a gym on site that was well equipped and fruit was available as you walk in. Overall, I am very happy with my experience at this resort.

What makes this place so special is the staff at the First Club & through out the resort. ❤️❤️💃🏼 Maya & Diane at the front desk to greet you, bartenders Andres Guzman, Eder Baotizig & Angel Flores👏🏼👍🏼 The resort is just beautifully maintained & right on the beach. This is our favorite by far.

I really like this location and have been here many times. I try to visit twice a year. The beach is very nice, plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy, with shaded areas from the palm trees. Drink service is extended to the beach area which makes it very nice. There are small tables next to the lounge chairs to put your items and drinks. There is always a nice breeze, so it's very comfortable to lay and doze off. The pools are also very nice as well. There is a small Pizza hut there for you to get various types of pizza as a snack or lunch. There is always food available. The rooms are adequate as I don't spend much time in the room. My housekeeping service has always been excellent and the rooms have always been clean. One can always find something good to eat on the buffets and the sit down ala-carte restaurants. Don't expect 5 star, as the price for this resort is modest, but the chef's try very hard to serve appetizing food that looks great too. The service is awesome and the servers and hosts do their very best to accommodate everyone with a pleasant demeanor! If you want something just ask! I can't stress how good the servers are. They're friendly, courteous and are well trained. It's a short (20Minute) walk to Playa del Carmen and 5th avenue is certainly something to experience. If you leave the property and go to the left about 3 blocks up there is a nice plaza where you can get souvenirs, transfer money to pesos, a pharmacy, many stores etc. You can dicker on price to get the best. One can even rent a scooter for $45.00 US Dollars a day if you like. A taxi is there at the hotel to take you to town at reasonable prices.
