Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah

We visit Dubai every year whenever we're able to, and despite having admired the Palm for years, we'd never visited the Waldorf Astoria or even considered staying there. We're so glad we made the decision because it exceeded every expectation.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with elegant surroundings, luxurious rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect place to relax.

A very special thank you goes to Omar, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He moved heaven and earth to accommodate us and kindly arranged a fantastic room on the fifth floor. The panoramic views were simply breathtaking, overlooking the Palm, both Atlantis hotels, the hotel's private beach, and the pool. Waking up to that view each morning was one of the highlights of our holiday.

The service throughout the hotel has been impeccable. Every member of staff has been warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had the best possible experience. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Breakfast was outstanding, offering an extensive selection of fresh, high-quality food, while the restaurants served delicious meals in beautiful surroundings. The private beach and pool areas were immaculate, with plenty of comfortable loungers and attentive staff, creating the perfect environment to relax.

Travelling with children, we also appreciated how family-friendly the hotel is. The staff made our children feel genuinely welcome while still maintaining the luxurious and tranquil atmosphere that makes this hotel so special.

I'd like to personally thank Omar and every member of his team for making our stay so memorable. We have just one night left at the hotel and, as I write this review—just as I promised Omar I would—I'm genuinely wondering why we didn't book for longer.

I've genuinely been trying to find something to fault during our stay, but I'm struggling to come up with anything! That's not something I say lightly, especially as someone who usually notices the little details. The team here has simply got it right.

That probably says everything you need to know about our experience. This has been one of the best hotel stays we've had in Dubai, and it most definitely won't be our last visit to the Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah. We look forward to returning very soon and would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for a truly first-class experience.

I am currently staying at the Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah, and unfortunately my arrival experience has not reflected the level of service I expected from a luxury hotel.

I arrived at approximately 2:45 pm and was initially told that my room was ready. However, I was then informed that it was not ready after all. I was asked to wait in the lobby without being given an estimated timeframe or any updates. After waiting, I had to return to the reception desk myself to ask for an update, at which point I was informed that the room was ready. In total, I waited approximately 20–30 minutes while travelling with my baby.

The check-in process was prolonged, communication throughout was poor, and the level of service fell below my expectations.

In addition, I was not given an introduction to the hotel or its facilities during check-in. No information was provided about the restaurants, their locations, or the amenities available on the property. As a first-time guest, I would have appreciated a brief overview to help me settle in and make the most of my stay.

While I understand that delays can occasionally happen, I expected a more efficient and welcoming arrival experience, particularly at a hotel of this calibre. I hope these issues are addressed during the remainder of my stay and that future guests receive a smoother and more informative check-in experience.
