Amazing restaurant experience
Had an amazing experience at the Porterhouse. Our waiters Christine and Drishti were exceptional the service could not be faulted.

Bad Experience at the sofitel
Check in was not evry efficient and the team seem to br very diaorganised. Unlike most hitels in dubai this hotel does not have clear designation for elite guests to check in or even a marriot check in.
The process itself was long winded and the room was not ready. We got one rokm at 2pm and the other we are still waitong. I am a diamomd member and honestly tej service has been bad.
When the one room was ready i went toone of the persons in the hotel to ask for asisstmace with teh room number. He assisted and then senr be back to reception whicb was a total watse of time.
The service and food is so bad that i am actually consifering cancelling the 2nd night.
Food is really dissappointing and the onky tjing that prevented a 2 star review (yes that is really how bad it is) is the fact that teh pools are nice.
The club lounge looks onto the road not really a sea view. All in all one of my most dispointing stays and we are here for family who are vsiisting from back home so its even more diapointing.
During tea at the lounge , i asked for another bowl of fries and the waiter actually refused saying we can have one bowl as we have 1 child. They quivkly remedies this, but honestly pathetic.

Loved every minute
Great hotel and staff. We would go back tomorrow if we could. Special shout out to Gilberto, we met him in The World Eatery and he is a great asset to the hotel. Food is fab too. My son ate his salad starter 2 nights in a row. If a 16 year old eats a salad starter then you know the food is good 😆😆
