Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach

I’ve stayed at Sofitel JBR every year, so it’s disappointing to say this stay wasn’t great. There were bugs in my room, and the noise outside was terrible late at night, especially with young children trying to sleep. I complained and was promised a complimentary upgrade for my next stay, only for this to later be retracted by email. Very disappointing, especially as a loyal returning guest.

Its our first time to stay in Sofitel JBR, and the location is super close to the beach, which is great! But this time, the humidity and summer heat in Dubai are just too much. It’s definitely better to take a walk at night, there are also a lots of shops around and restaurant. The hotel breakfast had some great options, and we really enjoyed it. thank you to Ms. Joan at the restaurant. We’re gluten-free, and she was so helpful in showing us where to find gluten-free foods. She even arranged a gluten-free croissant for me. Overall, the staff are very polite and helpful.

We had a wonderful 2days stay at Sofitel JBR, and the view from our room was absolutely stunning! We were hoping to swim, but the pool was quite crowded. Breakfast was also busy, so we had to wait for a table. The hostess was so helpful; she guided us to a perfect spot near the buffet, as my mother preferred to be close by. The next day, we arrived a bit early and didn’t have to wait, as we already had our table in the same area my mother likes. Huge thank you to Joanne for her assistance; she’s incredibly kind. Theres a varity of food options. Also, thank you to the chef for making a nice crepe for my son. Inshallah, we’ll be back soon!
