Fantastic hotel for exploring Dubai
2026 was mine and my wife's 20 wedding anniversary, and we decided to book something special to mark it, so decided on 5 nights in Dubai.
We got a excellent deal through On the Beach for direct flights from Glasgow and 5 nights all inclusive in the Radisson Blue Hotel in Barsha Heights.
Having never been to Dubai, we had no idea where to look in the city for a place to stay, and though close to the Palm was maybe the best idea.
We decided on this hotel and being honest, it more than met all our requirements.
We had arrived VERY late (after midnight) and they had us checked in to our room in no time.
When checking in the receptionist who made us so welcome was asking if it was our first time in Dubai, and I said yes and mentioned how it was our twentieth wedding anniversary, and the next morning after coming back from the pool there was a lovely gift waiting for us on the bed (a lovely heart shaped cake and message).
Our stay was all inclusive, so it meant that we got drinks from all the bars, breakfast, and food from the two restaurants in the hotel (one Italian, and the other a British Pub).
Breakfast was served in the Italian restaurant each morning, and at night we would eat in a mixture of there and the British Pub, and both places were excellent!
During the day it was faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar to warm to venture out, and thankfully our tours included hotel pick up, so we did not need to venture to far away, and most the time we spent at the pool.
Hotel is spotless and the staff do go the extra mile to make your stay an enjoyable one.
Room was decent sized and served our purpose well.
