Good: Staff friendly, clean hotel. Size of room Average: food. Bad: Business lounge was closed. Internet speed terrible for Microsoft Teams. The manager was rude.
Hotel was perfect, breakfast, room, service , location is excellent, near Dubai Marina, Al Barsh Mall
Very strategic welcoming hotel not so far from many attractions, especially Palm Jumeirah next to Metro Station. It has several dining outlets. My favorite was the Italian honestly worth this. Stay there as it takes all the boxes needed for staycation tourism and for a nice dining experience or to grab a drink in one of its pubs.
I recently stayed again at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Barsha, formerly Media Rotana, a hotel that has been my preferred choice in Dubai for many years.
When I learned about the rebranding, I was hopeful that it would bring further improvements and elevate an already excellent property to an even higher level. However, to be completely honest, I have not yet seen the positive changes I was expecting. In fact, from the perspective of a frequent guest who has stayed here many times over the years, I noticed some aspects that seemed less polished than before.
That said, I believe in being fair and objective. The hotel’s greatest asset remains its people. The professionalism, dedication, and positive attitude of the staff continue to be exceptional, and in some cases even better than before. It is clear that many employees are making extra efforts to compensate for the challenges that may accompany a major transition and rebranding process.
I would particularly like to recognize the Concierge team, especially Mr. Walee, whom I often describe as the “Dynamo of the Lobby.” His energy, professionalism, willingness to help, and constant presence make a real difference to the guest experience.
I would also like to commend the Front Desk (Mr. Rahul and his colleagues) team for their flexibility, efficiency, and genuine commitment to meeting guests’ needs in a friendly and professional manner.
Another highlight of my stay was the breakfast service. During Eid Al Adha, the hotel was extremely busy and operating at very high occupancy levels. Despite this, the breakfast experience was excellent. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, the organization was smooth, and the service remained attentive and efficient. Special appreciation goes to the chef and the entire breakfast team, including the waiters and coordinators, who managed the large number of guests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
To be fair, I also recognize that rebranding is a complex process and that meaningful improvements often require time. For this reason, I prefer not to make a final judgment at this stage. I would like to give the management sufficient time to fully implement their plans before evaluating the long-term results of this transition.
I sincerely wish the hotel, its management, and all its employees continued success. They are among the finest hospitality professionals I have encountered, and I genuinely hope to see the positive developments and enhancements that a hotel of this caliber deserves.
I have stayed at Radisson Blu many times over the years, and it remains my first choice whenever I return to Dubai. What makes this hotel special is the consistency of its service and the welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like a second home.
I often stay for extended periods, sometimes for months at a time, and the staff always go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the housekeeping team does an excellent job every day. All team members, from the front desk to the lifeguards in the pool, treat my family and me very well, and it's definitely my second home!
