Jumeirah Al Naseem

Absolutely beautiful hotel and a lovely stay. We’ve stayed at Jumeirah Al Naseem before and it was just as lovely this time around.

Our family room was perfect for us and our teenager, especially having the dividing doors which gave us all a bit of privacy.

The staff were so accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble. It was especially lovely to see Yousef, the manager, again as we had met him on our previous stay. He was just as welcoming and lovely to chat to, and always made time for us.

Although parts of the hotel are currently closed for renovations, this didn’t affect our stay at all.

Breakfast was always lovely, with friendly and attentive service every morning.

Another fantastic stay and we can’t wait to return! ⭐️

Jumeirah Al Naseem is simply not worth the money they charge.

There are certainly some positives: the hotel has an excellent location, beautiful surroundings, and the breakfast is very good. Unfortunately, these advantages are overshadowed by the quality of service, which was by far the biggest disappointment of our stay.

The staff were often rude, unhelpful, and completely lacking in customer-oriented service. The Bell Desk was particularly disappointing, and our experience with a staff member named Rubel was especially poor. At a hotel in this price category, you expect professionalism, courtesy, and a genuine desire to help guests. We experienced the opposite.

Another extremely irritating issue was being constantly asked for our room number. It happened everywhere — at entrances and exits, at the pool, when ordering a buggy, and in many other situations. Instead of making you feel like a valued guest, it makes you feel as though you are constantly being checked and questioned.

There were also technical problems with the room. The lights would periodically switch off and then come back on, and the water in the shower did not drain properly. These are basic things that simply should not happen at a luxury hotel charging these prices.

But the main problem is the service and the attitude of the staff. Having stayed at other luxury hotels such as Mandarin Oriental and The Ritz-Carlton, the difference in service standards is enormous. Compared with those hotels, I would rate the staff service at Al Naseem close to zero.

A great location and a good breakfast are simply not enough to justify these prices. For this level of money, guests should receive exceptional service, attention, and comfort. Unfortunately, Al Naseem did not deliver that experience.
