Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I had a good time at Queen Elizabeth 2 hotel. I met a staff know as Bikram who assisted me in so many ways. He was indeed a good worker.
Its great experience. We really enjoyed specially the tour . I forgot her name, i remember only MR Craig. We hope we can see the engine someday to see hows the ship voyage. The reception are all amazing and helpful. Porters, cleaners are great. Hope to jeep QE stayed for more years.
My recent stay at QE2 last Saturday was, unfortunately, far from the memorable experience I had hoped for. Despite the ship’s iconic status and its undeniable historic charm, the service and overall management left much to be desired.
The issues began right at check‑in. The staff appeared careless and disorganized, misplacing my partner’s ID after we handed it over for verification. We were even accused of keeping it with us, which was both uncomfortable and unprofessional. Only after requesting CCTV review did the staff member locate the ID—still in her possession. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of an apology for the inconvenience and the false accusation.
I had booked a signature room, but upon arrival, it was unavailable. We were given a twin room instead, which did not meet expectations. The hotel’s directional signage was poor, making navigation unnecessarily difficult. Basic amenities were also lacking—there was no body wash or soap in the bathroom. Despite multiple attempts to reach housekeeping by phone, and their eventual agreement to send soap and an additional water bottle, nothing was delivered. We had to manage with only the two bottles provided in the room.
The pool attendant added to the disappointment with a gloomy and unfriendly attitude, giving the impression that the hotel is severely understaffed. Breakfast at the restaurant was chaotic, crowded, and noisy—more like a bustling fish market than a relaxing morning meal. To their credit, the restaurant stewards were friendly and worked tirelessly to manage the crowd and clear tables.
Overall, QE2 is worth visiting once for its historical significance and unique setting. However, based on my experience, it is not a place I would choose to stay again.
We had an amazing experience at the Queen Elizabeth 2, especially the Heritage Tour. Both of our tour guides were absolutely amazing and made the experience even more special. They explained everything so beautifully and clearly, shared interesting stories about the ship’s history, and were very friendly and welcoming throughout the tour.
You could really feel their passion and knowledge for the QE2, and they made sure we understood and enjoyed every part of the tour. It was fascinating to learn about the ship’s incredible history and see the beautiful original features preserved onboard.
A big thank you to both the tour guides for making our experience so memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the QE2 — definitely a must-do experience! ❤️🚢
We had a lovely stay at the Queen Elizabeth 2 while celebrating my brother’s birthday. Staying on such an iconic ship and experiencing a rare piece of history was truly special. ⚓❤️
A special thanks to Ms. Rachel A for recommending this property. We really enjoyed the experience and the unique atmosphere of the ship.
The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast restaurant was quite crowded during busy hours, and the corridors felt a little narrow, but overall, these were minor points compared to the experience.
It was a wonderful stay, and we’re happy to have created some beautiful family memories aboard the QE2. 🎂⚓❤️
