Amazing location with spectacular views, but more importantly fantastic flavoursome food. Tun our ‘Emily’ for the day was an amazing hostess and talked knowledgeably about all the flavours and talked us through it. Very attentive and helpful. Congratulations to the chef for creating such excellent dishes.
Great Stay Until Our Belongings Went Missing
I initially had a very good experience at this hotel, and everything was going well until a brand-new shirt that we had purchased during our stay disappeared from our room.
What made the situation even more suspicious was that the housekeeper who had been cleaning our room every day was suddenly replaced by someone else the day after the shirt went missing.
We reported the incident to the hotel several times. The management told us they would investigate and even said they would compensate us for the missing item. They also had CCTV footage confirming that we arrived at the hotel with the shopping bag containing the shirt.
Unfortunately, after making these promises, the hotel stopped communicating with us. They repeatedly told us they would send us updates, but they never did. We constantly had to contact them ourselves to ask for information, and eventually they simply ignored our messages altogether. In the end, they provided no compensation and no satisfactory explanation.
It is extremely disappointing to have a personal belonging disappear from a hotel room, but what made the experience even worse was the way the situation was handled afterward. A hotel should take reports like this seriously, communicate honestly with its guests, and honor the commitments it makes. Sadly, this experience left us feeling ignored and deeply disappointed.
