Consistently Excellent...
This Hotel has a distinct, old world charm with modern & spacious well maintained rooms. The Front Office Team is courteous and helpful. Particular Thanks to Mr Marwan for a quick resolution to some pending issues and to Ms Marsha for patient handling of multiple queries. IRD is consistently excellent, with plenty of options during breakfast as well as during dinner. Outstanding Service from Ms Jamaica, along with Mr Faraaz & Mr Santosh, supported excellently by Ms Hnin (Breakfast Service) and by Ms Nabina (Dinner Service). The Lounge being closed is a little disappointing, but the team from the alternate venue (Somersets) tries valiantly to make up for it. A Collective Thank You to all for a great stay...

A Good Stay with Constructive Feedback
I had a pleasant stay at Mövenpick Bur Dubai. The room was more spacious than expected, the food was excellent, and I genuinely appreciated the warm and hospitable attitude of the team.
From a hospitality perspective, I would highlight a few areas for improvement. The room service sometimes took longer to deliver than expected, and on several occasions, the telephone was ringing but my calls were not answered.
I also experienced intermittent electricity and lighting issues, which occurred multiple times and required assistance from Engineering. In addition, the lavatory when using, the water was not draining properly, so we approached Reception to request a room change as it was inconvenient for us for 2 times request and we were advised that the hotel was fully fully booked and that they would arrange a move and update us the following day. Unfortunately, no one followed up with us afterwards.
I would, however, like to acknowledge one positive point: after Engineering attended to the issue, one of the team members from Telephone operator took the initiative to check on us and make sure everything was okay. I genuinely appreciated that gesture, as it showed care and attention to the guest experience.
These are simply observations from my stay, shared constructively from a hospitality perspective. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and I appreciate the team’s efforts and hospitality. I hope these points can help strengthen communication, follow-up, and service recovery. I look forward to returning in the future and wish the entire team continued success.

I would like to sincerely thank the management and the entire Mövenpick team for the excellent hospitality and outstanding service. A special thanks to Mr. Ahmed at Reception, who welcomed me & My wife with warm greetings & it was so warmly and professionally, especially after my nine-hour drive. He made everything smooth, quick, and stress-free. An d in two days I would like to thank the receptionist hsu & ei ei, jamaika Really I took all the staff name as they support me or my wife My appreciation also goes to the breakfast team who was making me full and with an excellent food specially ladies, Jamaica, Min, and Aishwarya, and the entire breakfast team. Jamaica’s & Ashwariya ability to remember our names as NASSER and welcome us personally was truly special. Aishwarya was extremely attentive and handled every request with a smile. Min was amazing supporting my wife Many thanks to the Chef for the delicious breakfast, especially the Egg Benedict and exceptional French Toast. I would also like to specially recognize our bellboys and outside supporting team with very patiently and excellent managements was Yadav Emon, Shoe, Kamal, Ekka, Frances, and vanket. They were always ready to assist, very quick, polite, and extremely supportive, even during busy periods with a lot of heat outside thanks to all Congratulations to Mövenpick Management for having such a wonderful team. Only book if you get a deal but not if you pay for a 5 star
This hotel is a 4 star deluxe at best. I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment so sharing the review for that.
Room- It is spacious with 2.5 baths and a fully loaded kitchen. The room is a 1 minute walk away which for a longer stay does become an inconvenience.
Room service- They do a bare minimum job of just makng up the bed. Only used 1 cup for coffee, it lay untouched for 2 days. Bathroom toilets are not cleaned and were dirty. Water pressure in the rooms is horrible, the worst i've experienced in a hotel. Amenities are on order only and it was weird that even when I asked the room service to stock everything, they said, tell us what you need exactly and we will only give that.
Breakfast- Breakfast options are limited and the taste itself is average. Frozen parathas heated and given, avocado that was grilled in the oven to inconsistent dosas. Here is where I also experienced the biggest problem with service. Reception said breakfast was till 10:30 am. I rushed on day 2 to make it at 12:28 to give my order when FARAZ told me that we cannot take an order and that he will try to make an exception for me. This tone and attitude was the biggest dampener. To give credit where due Aishwarya served us the first day we ate and here service was par excellence, the single best staff member in the hotel.
Location - This is good. Hotel is very close to the airport, dubai mall, even other places like JBR are only 20 minutes away.
