Millennium Central Downtown

The rooms are dirty and very run down. The beds are uncomfortable. The en-suites are old showers in bath tubs that any modern home doesn’t have. You have to climb into the old tiled floor . The tiles are mouldy the sinks and taps cracked. All of it is filthy. Marks of cups everywhere. The night staff literally don’t care about checking you in properly. The room is too small for a coffee table so it’s pressed against the lumpy bed. I regret booking I know it’s meant to be budget but it’s not cheap . The standard is very very low. It seems to be the hotel for s£x workers and clients. I hope they are paid well for putting up with this dump of a hotel

I’ve been a regular guest at the Millennium Central and most of the time the guest experience is smooth. However, recently there has been a shortfall in the service standards. For example, my room hasn’t been cleaned for two consecutive days and obviously the rubbish bin hasn’t been emptied. Furthermore, I have to always ask for a laundry bag and the latter isn’t replaced automatically. The room rates have literally doubled since last month but the service standards have more than halved! This is just objective feedback and it would be interested to see the service recovery incentives that are put in place. Should the hotel have operational issues and limited human capital, then this should be addressed by management as a priority. I have to advocate that the Front Desk staff have always been professional and helpful.
