Housed in the iconic Opus building in the Burj Khalifa district, ME Dubai stands out from the crowd. The Opus was envisioned and designed in its entirety by architectural legend, Dame Zaha Hadid. The exterior and interior of the hotel blend together seamlessly, showcasing lightflooded atriums, curved spaces and minimalist, chic interiors. ME Dubai's atrium is a 4-storey high masterpiece, and the views open up to the void, through a glass ceiling. All rooms and suites of ME Dubai are congruent with Dame Zaha Hadid's signature Design. Central Cosmo Tapas and Bar provides a cosmopolitan vibe, whilst Refuel and Relax add their twist on healthy casual dining with drinks and dinner after the gym. Regard ME Dubai as your ‘Lifestyle Concierge', delivering bespoke à la carte or pre-selected services within your personal space, tailored to your personality.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
What a great find this hotel was.
Stayed here on way to Kenya for a safari. Spent 5 nights in Dubai at this hotel and from the second I arrived the staff treated me with respect and kindness.
Firstly, as I had booked well in advance, before all the problems, the rate I had secured for a basic room on a DB&B rate was now considerably lower.
To compensate the manager had offered me a free upgrade to a room five tiers up from the one booked - and ME Superior room with extra space and a Burj view.
What a great room and could not have asked for more. The rooms are ultra Modern and well kitted out with coffee machine and mini bar (extra) plus free water each day topped up by the housekeeping staff.
Bed was super comfy as well and the bathroom was massive with bath and separate shower room.
I spent my time at the hotel by the li during that which was also first class. Lots of loungers and shades and the staff there, led by Tuan, were so helpful and could not do more. Tuan went above and beyond each day to ensure I got the sunbed I liked and also helped me move round the pool each day as the sun moved.
Only slight issue is the sun moves behind several of the surrounding skyscrapers now but to be honest this want a problem as it was so hot….
Finally l, as a solo traveller I booked the Dinner, B&B rate and the food was served in the Central restaurant which was Spanish themed (as Melia is a Spanish brand).
The food was amazing and such a good choice at breakfast which was à la carte each day.
The evening meal was also from a set Menu with loads of choices which really suited me as I like Spanish and Persian food. All served with beer/ wine or soft drinks.
The waiting staff were also excellent and so pleasant. Could not be more helpful.
Finally I tho k it was well situated in the Bay Business area and only a short taxi ride to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa as well as many shops and eateries surrounding it.
It is a small hotel in a large modern designer building and the hotel did feel very quiet, often being the only person at the pool or eating in the restaurant at night l, however it was perfect for my extended layover and I will definitely use it again.
Well done everyone - first class and well worth the low cost charged (around £150 a night DB&B for the ME superior room with extra space and Khalifi view at todays prices)
I really like the service of the security faustina and issac i guess not sure of their name but the were really kind and nice
At ME Dubai I was impressed not only by the beautiful atmosphere but also by the exceptional service from the security team. Martha was incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. She greeted us with a warm smile, remained vigilant throughout, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly enhanced my experience. ME Dubai is fortunate to have someone like Martha representing the hotel. Highly recommended!
As expected. A nice hotel with an exceptional design; one has to stay in for at least one time for the experience. More hotels should be signed by Architects and not only brands. A room on the 3rd floor is somehow an exception in Dubai:) The gym is very well equipped; i did not try the SPA and pool. Plenty of good restaurants in the building- not part of the hotel. Salmon Guru a nice place to have a drink. One “professional” note: I didn’t like that the bathroom opens to the bedroom and not on the entrance facing the dressing: not practical; if for the view a simple opening would do. I will surely be back.
The hotel is so sweet, with a good security and I will recommend Faustina security to everyone. Enjoying my stay in Me Dubai.
