A Wonderful Stay – The Staff Really Make This Hotel Special

We have now visited Dubai for the 5th time and have spent nearly three months here in total, so we feel we have a good understanding of the different areas and what makes a location convenient for a holiday.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek, and what made our experience so special was the incredible staff.

Having stayed in Dubai so many times, we feel we can honestly say that if you are looking for a hotel with a great location, easy access to the Metro, shopping, restaurants and everyday facilities, this is a prime location for getting around and exploring Dubai. Having everything so close at hand makes such a difference, particularly if you are staying for a longer period.

A special mention to Sebastian, Diksar, Mangal, Dilzar, Chamara, Anel, Ionela and Nassim, as well as everyone in the Kitchen Restaurant — there are simply too many to mention! Every one of you helped make our experience so enjoyable, and we really appreciated the warm welcome and excellent service.

A very special thank you to the Poolside Team, especially Thisaru, for all his charm, professionalism and help throughout our stay. We will definitely miss him — especially our wonderful chats around the pool! He is a real credit to the hotel.

We would also like to give a very special mention to Sona from Housekeeping, who looked after our room every day. She is a lovely girl and one of the unsung heroes of the hotel. We always returned to find our room beautifully clean and immaculate.

And there was always a little surprise waiting for us — one of the wonderful towel animals Sona had created. It was such a beautiful and thoughtful touch, and we always looked forward to seeing which animal would greet us when we returned to our room! These little personal touches really do make a stay memorable.

The Front Desk team were all so helpful and welcoming. A special mention to the lovely Front Desk ladies Anel, Aya and Maria, as well as Ashmita, whose charm and helpfulness at reception made everything so straightforward. We also appreciated all the other members of the team who looked after us so warmly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their friendly approach made such a difference to our stay.

We would also like to mention Yousef on Concierge, who was extremely helpful and always willing to assist us. His knowledge, helpfulness and friendly manner were very much appreciated.

The Copperhead staff were once again attentive and welcoming, and the drinks during Happy Hour were very reasonably priced. A special thank you to Himanshu and all the servers who looked after us with a smile.

The hotel is also very conveniently located for those little everyday essentials. There is a supermarket on site in the M4 building, and a local pharmacy just 2–3 minutes from the front of the hotel, which we found extremely useful.

For shopping, Deira City Mall is only around a 10–12 minute walk away and has plenty of shops to suit everyone’s taste.

A useful tip for guests: when walking towards the mall, we would recommend using the grey pedestrian bridge with lifts rather than trying to cross at the zebra crossings over the busy road. Enter the Metro station, take the escalator down and go underneath the road. When you come out on the other side, you are right in front of the entrance to the huge mall. Much easier and safer!

Overall, it is the people who truly make a hotel special, and the staff at the Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek certainly made our stay memorable. Thank you all for your kindness, professionalism and wonderful service.

After five visits to Dubai and nearly three months spent here, we can genuinely say that the Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek is somewhere we would happily return to.

I had such a lovely experience staying here. A special shout-out to Jude, Fred and Frank for their exceptional hospitality and kindness throughout my stay. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive and always willing to help, which genuinely made me feel comfortable and well taken care of.

The hospitality really stood out to me — it’s not often you come across people who make you feel this welcomed and valued. Their professionalism and warm attitude made my stay even more enjoyable.
