Best getaway for Families!
I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, but my experience at The WB Abu Dhabi was truly special! And what made it even more memorable was the incredible staff.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a design that manages to be both cool and elegant at the same time. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and everything works perfectly.
The service is excellent! The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any request.
I want to say a very special thank you to Violah, who made our mornings even more enjoyable. Our daughter was so excited to see her every morning at breakfast, and honestly, so were we! Her warmth, kindness, and amazing service really made a difference to our stay. It’s people like her who turn a great hotel experience into something truly memorable. Wont forget also Wicky and Anna who made us feel very special with their amazing service! We will always remember them as part of this amazing experience!
And Thank you also for Sisi - also in the sidecicks for welcoming us everyday with a beautiful smile and welcoming our daughter.
The pool area is also lovely and relaxing, and the huge cinema screen by the pool is such a fun and unique touch!
And of course, the fact that your stay includes access to the theme parks makes the whole experience even better and such great value for money!
We had an absolutely wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to everyone at The WB Abu Dhabi for making our stay so special! ❤️

Great service and atmosphere
Breakfast at WB was very delightful. The staff was outstanding Mr Laurence, Desirea & Winky, provided excellent service!
The staff at this hotel is what makes it truly special!
I'll start this review with the main highlight of this hotel - the staff!!
I have travelled alot throughout, and I have never seen such exceptional service so far anywhere else. The staff helps elevate this hotel from a regular show piece, to an extraordinary place to visit.
But our most remembered staff member has to be Violah! we always met during the breakfast buffet (and dinner as well) as she was posted in the sidekick restaurant.
Her presence turned our breakfast, from a mundane part of the day, to something to look forward to! We chatted everyday, she got to know us, and we got to know her, she's an amazing person which reflected on her exceptional service, kindness and humanity! Even our toddler grew fond of her to the point that she swung over from my arms to hers to give her a goodbye hug on our last day.
And we won't forget to mention Wicky and Anna! who have also given us exceptional service during the breakfast and dinner buffet, we really felt very special from their service, even though they were simultaneously juggling (probably) a million other things during their workday, and I truly have never seen anything like this so far, you guys really deserve the utmost praise!
And I also want to thank Sisi, who always welcomed us into the breakfast buffet each day with a smile and a beautiful greeting.
It's funny how the review is mostly occupied by our buffet experinece in this hotel, but I truly tried my best to summarize this as much as I could without being cheap on details, and the buffet experience was not really something to glance over.
Now to the rest of the review :D
Location - self - explanatory, it's basically a walk away or a short cab drive away from everything you need to do on Yas island.
Atmosphere - Absolutely true to everything WB, it's beautiful designed and detailed, all the functionalities, the attention to the design of the hotel, nothing feels "synthetic" or just there to be there, it was truly geniune.
Room - we booked the king artist room with pool view, the room was well designed and organized, sparkly clean, fresh and tidy. there were all the things a family needs to enjoy a beautiful vacation here and then some - we especially liked the large sofa bed, the vents worked well to exchange air which kept the room fresh, the TV has many of our favorite channels, the bath accessories (inlcuding dental kits) were appreciated, and also, the lifesaver - a clothing hanger in the shower to hang your wet clothes from the pool, it's not special to this hotel, but it's definetly not standard. Also, great bonus! The floors are non slip, especially in the shower with a toddler, it's very helpful. The bed was exactly what we needed after a long day in the theme parks, it was extremely comfortable. One small bother, was that the water in the shower (when taking a shower) felt like it was alternating between a little bit too hot, to a little bit too cold, it didn't feel like hot and cold we running together at the same time. And also I really enjoyed having a bluetooth speaker in the bathroom (which helped keep our toddler entertained while taking a shower which she absolutely hates) and the high quality bluetooth speaker in the room itself, which we used to play some nice music.
I can go on and on about this hotel, but you get the gist, if you have the money and the time, go right ahead and book a room.
If you have children, and want to know if your kids will benefit from this trip, I highly recommend taking kids that are above 3 years old (or height is above 1 meter), we went with a 2.5 year old (who was 96cm tall), she enjoyed it for the most part, but kids her age usually get scared or shy from toy figures and cannot ride most games in the theme parks because most games start at 1m height, no one in the theme parks let that slide, they never let her in, even though she was missing only 4cm.
