An Exceptional Stay at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort – A Birthday to Remember ❤️

We spent two wonderful nights at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort celebrating my birthday, and once again, the experience exceeded all our expectations. This is not our first stay, and it certainly will not be our last! There is a reason we keep coming back: the exceptional hospitality, the attention to detail, and the way the team makes us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for as a family.

I would like to give a very special thank you to the amazing team members who made our stay so memorable.

✨ Front Office – Elena, Jessie, and Haidy Thank you for the warm welcome and for making everything smooth and effortless from the moment we arrived. Your kindness set the perfect tone for our stay.

☕ Breakfast Restaurant – Shova, Ebraam, Zin, and Fernandis Our breakfast experience was wonderful, thanks to your attentiveness and genuine care. A very special mention goes to Ebraam, who deserves recognition twice over! He prepared the most delicious coffee for us, remembered our little ones, and brought them their favourite snacks. These thoughtful gestures might seem small, but they mean so much to parents travelling with young children. He also went above and beyond by recommending dishes at Sontaya, which made our dinner experience even more special.

🏖️ Pool, Beach, and Recreation Team – Jennifer, Francis, and Ishoba Thank you for bringing so much warmth and positive energy to our time by the pool and beach. You helped make our family moments even more enjoyable and relaxing.

🤍 Our Butler Team – Rita, Banj, and Harshani Thank you for your thoughtful assistance, attention to detail, and the wonderful care you provided throughout our stay. Having people who genuinely anticipate your needs makes such a difference, especially when travelling as a family.

🥢 Sontaya Asian Restaurant – Ebraam We would also like to give Ebraam a special mention for his excellent recommendations. We followed his advice on what to order, and the result was an amazing dining experience. It is rare to find someone who not only knows the menu so well but also understands how to make guests feel confident and excited about trying something new.

What makes The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort truly special is not just its beautiful setting or luxurious facilities; it is the people who bring the experience to life. Every member of the team contributed to making my birthday celebration memorable, and the genuine warmth shown to our children made us feel especially appreciated as a family.

We left with beautiful memories, full hearts, and even more reasons to return. Thank you for making my birthday getaway so special and for consistently delivering the level of hospitality that keeps us coming back.

I wanted to share how grateful we are for the exceptional service, care and attention we received during our recent babymoon. We were initially a little nervous about travelling to the Middle East given recent concerns in the region, but your team immediately put us at ease. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. The team knew we were visiting for our babymoon and gender reveal, ensured we had a comfortable room, and made it clear they were happy to help make our special occasion memorable.

The following morning, the Olea team welcomed us just as warmly. Their thoughtfulness was remarkable. When they noticed my wife was pregnant, they brought her a pillow for extra support at breakfast. It was a small but meaningful gesture, and the pillow was waiting at her seat every morning thereafter without us having to ask. The chefs were equally accommodating, preparing anything she was craving even when it wasn’t on the buffet. Their care continued after breakfast: knowing she loved honey melon, they would leave honey melon and berries in our room for her without being asked. Beyond these gestures, the team took time to speak with us every day, share experiences and offer support. My wife felt genuinely cared for, as though she and our baby were at the centre of everything. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, care and attention shown by the entire team.

The poolside team and lifeguards were equally outstanding. While we relaxed by the pool and beach, they made sure my wife stayed hydrated and comfortable, regularly bringing ice-cold water, detox water, coconut water, fruit, ice lollies and cold towels. Their attentiveness also gave me peace of mind when I went to the gym, knowing someone was keeping an eye on her. They arranged a cabana in a convenient, safe location with easy access to the pool and washroom, and they checked in on her regularly throughout the day.

Our biggest moment came on Monday, 14 September, when our photographer joined us for our pregnancy shoot and gender reveal. The Sophia and butler teams were incredible in helping us organise everything. We had a balloon containing the surprise, and the team prepared both blue and pink mocktails to add to the occasion. After the countdown, we finally had the moment we had been eagerly awaiting for weeks. Your team helped make it truly special and unforgettable.

The Butler team at St. Regis was truly exceptional. They took wonderful care of us and always made my wife’s comfort a priority. After a long day, she would return to a relaxing bubble bath, while thoughtful treats such as fruit, cakes and chocolates were often waiting in our room alongside heartfelt handwritten notes. These gestures made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The team went above and beyond throughout our stay, even taking care of packing our suitcases for us.

Overall, we had an incredible stay and were made to feel like part of your family. Your team cared for us wholeheartedly and surrounded us with warmth and kindness. We leave today feeling sad to say goodbye, but with hearts full of gratitude. This is not goodbye, but simply “see you soon”. We look forward to returning and introducing our baby to their St. Regis uncles and aunts. We will miss you all, and we cannot thank you enough.

P.S. We checked out on the 19th September and were due to stay in Dubai til the 25th September , your team made such a massive influence on us that we cancelled our last 3 days in Dubai and came back to stay with you all for 3 nights ( this is why we have 2 room numbers ! )

Fabulous experience. Lovely hotel and all the staff are great. But in particular we say: Thanks to the lovely Minisha at breakfast. She is a joy. Thanks to the lovely lovely Rita in the butler service, what an absolute star.

The laned 24 metre pool was fab, used it every day!!!. And the best hotel bathroom ever. We hope to visit again one day.
