As good as I remember
This was actually our second visit, we stayed back in September 2023 and this time was just as memorable. We requested a room with a view of the palace and got upgraded to one with a balcony and a view of the palace and Emirates palace. A great spot for watching the sunset each evening.
The pool and beach were amazing and we even saw dolphins swimming on one of the days, which was such a lovely surprise. The sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were just as good as I remembered. They're male and female specific for those that prefer a little bit more privacy.
We had the lunch buffet and the food was lovely, but the vanilla profiteroles were sublime - so much so I actually complimented the chef, which isn't like me at all :)
Two things would need to improve for me to rate it 5* but recognise they are more preferences. Firstly the pillows. I prefer a firm, supportive pillow, the hotel pillows were anything but which did affect my quality of sleep. Secondly the building design compounded my lack of sleep as noise travels and unfortunately unruly children making noise early morning tended to be the wake up alarm!
As for location there's a couple of upscale hotels around but if you want to get into downtown Abu Dhabi you'll need a bus or taxi, not really much within walking distance.
Overall a great stay, would happily go back again.

Thank You for Making Our Son's Birthday Truly Special
We celebrated our son's birthday at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana, and it was a wonderful and memorable experience for our family.
Special thanks to Julie (Reception), Christian, Alex, and Breen (Baggage Team), Regine, Sai, and Yasin (Food Service), and Chef Sfarana, Chef Lithin, and Chef Srijana for their outstanding hospitality, excellent service, and delicious food.
Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our son's special day even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our celebration truly special. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel with great facilities ,amazing pool and beach .
Staycation
The hotel and facilities are great, they have a lovely pool area , the beach wasn’t too my liking. Staff were amazing they handle everything with great care .
Managers are very arrogant and unprofessional,not suitable for Indian communities.
Very abusive staff mostly restaurant manager and reception manager
