Surprising experience
Due to a technical fault at Abu Dhabi airport on August 19th night 20th AM our flight from LHR to AUH was diverted just before landing to Doha. Due to this diversion we missed our connecting flight to Dhaka upon our landing back at AUH. The airline while trying to be helpful to passengers were overwhelmed with the sheer numbers of people with missed connections, delays, and need for hotels etc. By the time we were assigned a hotel our full ordeal had lasted over six hours. Fortunately the airline provided us accommodation at Bab Al Qasr Hotel. From the minute we entered the hotel till today we have been treated with such respect and professionalism from all staff members. What turned out to be a terrible ordeal with the airline was quickly washed away by the staff at Bab Al Qasr. I would to mention Mr.Key at the check in desk who was very kind and helpful with all our needs even arranging a pizza at 4am as we where very hungry having not eaten for hours. My wife would like to mention Mr.Kyaw who was managing the rooms on our floor. He assisted us very nicely on several occasions when we needed things.
This has been a very good experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi.
Amazing stay
The stay was absolutely fantastic and had an amazing view of the palace from both of our rooms. The staff was so friendly and helpful especially Imaine and Anita made sure we had everything we needed. The place is kids friendly and with a large nice pool. The rooms are all clean and good size.
