Salalah Rotana Resort

The hotel is nice, great atmosphere and nice facilities. But the service is relatively poor. We had issues since the time we checked in and some service quality have been going on throughout our 5 day stay. The staff were friendly but that's it, they didn't know how to handle unsatisfied customers, and their actions to rectify situations took several reminders as well as quite some time.

I am currently staying at Salalah Rotana Resort, and overall, my experience has been very pleasant. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a wonderful place to relax.

The housekeeping service has been excellent. Tuna has done an outstanding job keeping my room clean and comfortable, and I truly appreciate her attention to detail. I would also like to thank Naif from the Security team, who personally followed up on the issues I reported and made sure everything was resolved quickly and professionally. Their dedication has made a noticeable difference during my stay.

Unfortunately, my experience at the reception has not been as positive. I was disappointed with the lack of assistance regarding my membership benefits, as my booking was not arranged under my membership despite my request. I also wanted to extend my stay, but I did not receive the support I expected.

The absolute highlight of my stay has been Saffron Restaurant. Without a doubt, it has been the best part of my experience at the resort. Every meal has been exceptional, with delicious food, outstanding quality, rich flavors, beautiful presentation, and an incredible selection of desserts.

A very special thank you to Slimani. His kindness, generosity, professionalism, and genuine hospitality have been truly exceptional. He went above and beyond by surprising me with a complimentary cake and mixed nuts, a thoughtful gesture that made my experience even more memorable. He constantly checks that everything is perfect, always with a warm smile and sincere care that makes every guest feel welcome. Team members like Slimani are a true asset to the resort, and he deserves special recognition for his outstanding service.

I would also like to sincerely thank Moataz, Abdeley, Dion, Sanaa, and Prashanth. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every visit to Saffron has been a pleasure because of them.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making my stay enjoyable. While there are a few areas that could be improved, the exceptional team at Saffron Restaurant has made this stay truly memorable. I am still enjoying my stay and will definitely return to Saffron again before I leave. Highly recommended!
