Excellent Heritage style property which gives authentic feel of Kerala on the Vembanad Lake shore.
We had a lovely stay at Kumarakom Lake Resort. The property is beautiful, and the excellent service made the experience all the more enjoyable. The team’s warmth and attentiveness were a highlight of our visit.
Unfortunately, the weather also meant we couldn’t enjoy the boat ride, which we had been looking forward to.
A wonderful property with a welcoming team, and we would happily return:hopefully with better weather next time!

Mind glowing experience in KLR
A truly beautiful and unforgettable experience. From the peaceful backwaters and breathtaking views to delicious food, relaxing ☺️ atmosphere and invigorating massages every moment was special and blissful, A big thank you 🙏 to the wonderful staff for their warm hospitality, friendly service and attentive care throughout our stay both in the room and the houseboat. They made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. Their kindness, teamwork and dedication made the whole experience much more memorable and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the amazing 🤩 photographer Mr Kavi for helping us create many many beautiful moments in the resort. Thank you Miss Cilla for all your guidance and planning. A special mention to Mr Johnny from the restaurant for his care and attention to what we could eat and creating dishes to suit us. No words to thank Mr Sajeesh for working behind the scenes to make this stay so beautiful. We could not have been happier. Thank you 😊 once again.
Beautiful lakeside hotel with houseboat option
We had 2 nights on a houseboat then 2 more in the hotel itself. The houseboat experience was brilliant with great crew of 3. We enjoyed stunning views of life around the backwaters and tasty meals from our chef.
The hotel was very good with lovely gardens, a huge pavilion room and infinity pool by the lake. We enjoyed lunch at the pool bar and pre dinner drinks by the seafood restaurant.
One of our meals was inedible but at least they didn't charge for it. Breakfast was always decent. All in a very relaxing stay.
