GG Turtle on the beach Resort was the ultimate relaxing getaway for us with excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. The hospitality from the entire staff was phenomenal . Our family stayed 2 days here.,The food at the Catamaran restaurant was truly delicious. I would like to mention Vijay who was very polite, attentive in servicing us and taking care every other guests too. One drawback we felt was,there is no direct/private access from beach to resort, we need to walk from main entrance of resort to reach the public beach. Special thank you to Rajesh and Hema for the kindness and support throughout the stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this property.
Excellent medium sized resort for relaxed family stay
We spent a night and two days at the Grand Turtle with family and in-laws. We wanted a relaxed stay, easy beach access, spacious rooms, and great food, and the hotel delivered on everything except beach access. The hotel drops guests at Hawa Beach, but the return trip costs Rs. 100 by auto.
The hotel restaurant was excellent. We had à la carte dinners and buffet breakfasts, and everything was fresh and tasty. Special thanks to Shahin and Vijay, who not only handled our custom orders well but also gave great tips on local attractions, timing, and how to get there. Thanks to them, we made it to Lighthouse Beach, which we would have otherwise missed.
Overall, if you want a medium sized resort with a relaxed vibe and excellent service, I highly recommend it. Just know the beach is not within walking distance.
