Had a really lovely stay at Soma Palmshore Beach Resort. The location is just beautiful—right by the beach, with such calming vibes all around. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and just slow down. The Ayurveda therapies and peaceful environment made it even more special.
Apart from the therapies, the food was amazing! I’ve never seen so many varieties in satvik food, and every dish was just perfect in taste.
The staff was warm and took great care of everything. I highly recommend this resort if you love nature and want to truly unwind. 🌊✨
Too good n staff very polite and helpful. Neat and clean too.
Title: Relaxing Stay with Great Hospitality
Rating: ⭐ 5/5
I had a wonderful experience at Soma Palmshore. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall environment was calm and enjoyable.
The staff behaviour was very polite and helpful, and the service was excellent. The food was also very good and added to the overall experience.
I am very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend Soma Palmshore to anyone visiting Kovalam for a peaceful and comfortable vacation.
Very disappointing experience. We were served burnt milk tea, and even after complaining, the replacement tea tasted the same. The dinner was equally disappointing, with excessive salt in both the noodles and fried rice, making them difficult to eat.
The restaurant and hotel staff were unable to provide several items we ordered, and there were repeated issues in understanding and taking our order correctly, even when communicated clearly in English.
One of the biggest concerns was safety. Access to the beach was through a small, old, and potentially dangerous gate, which is especially risky for children, elderly guests, and families.
The overall attitude of the manager and staff was unprofessional and discourteous. Two ladies in our group were spoken to rudely, and we felt that guests were not being treated equally and respectfully. Hospitality should never be influenced by a guest's caste, colour, language, or background.
The experience was so unpleasant that we checked out after just one night, despite having paid for two nights. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hospitality experiences we have had.
The management should focus on improving food quality, staff behaviour, communication skills, guest safety, and ensuring that every guest is treated with dignity and respect.
I would not recommend this property based on my experience.
A good experience, the rooms are a delught with the view making it extra special
