Our stay at Sagara Resort Kovalam was truly exceptional from start to finish. What sets this resort apart is not only its beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere, but also the outstanding people who make every guest feel welcomed and valued.

A special mention goes to the three owners, whose passion, dedication, and attention to detail are evident throughout the entire property. Their commitment to excellence has created a resort that offers both luxury and genuine hospitality.

The reception staff, particularly the young ladies and lads at the front desk, were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with genuine smiles and made the check-in process smooth and effortless. Throughout our stay, they were always available to answer questions, offer local recommendations, and assist with any requests promptly and professionally. Their warm and cheerful attitude created a wonderful first impression and made us feel valued guests from beginning to end.

The housekeeping team deserves high praise for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and comfort. Every area of the resort was spotless, and the rooms were beautifully prepared each day, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay. Another exceptional service that impressed us was the same-day dry-cleaning service, which was efficient, reliable, and incredibly convenient—a level of service rarely found and greatly appreciated during our stay.

The restaurant staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The food was consistently outstanding, offering a wonderful variety of delicious dishes prepared to a very high standard. Every meal was a memorable experience, showcasing quality ingredients and excellent presentation.

The bar was another highlight of the resort. The ambience was elegant yet relaxed, providing the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the evening. A special mention goes to Anoop and Thomas, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly personalities elevated the experience. Their excellent service, knowledge, and dedication to guest satisfaction made every visit to the bar enjoyable and memorable.

Guests can enjoy a beautiful, pristine beach with soft sands and crystal-clear waters, meticulously maintained and perfect for long walks, swimming, or simply relaxing while taking in the breathtaking coastal views. Adding to the charm is the nearby lighthouse, which provides a picturesque landmark and a wonderful place to visit, especially during sunrise and sunset.

The resort also boasts two beautiful swimming pools, offering guests plenty of space to relax, swim, and enjoy the tropical surroundings. Whether you prefer a refreshing morning swim or a peaceful afternoon by the pool, both pools are exceptionally well maintained and add greatly to the overall resort experience.

Comfortable enough but a very tired hotel needing some maintenance . It has two pools but one looked like it was not used as water level very low. The hotel itself is massive spreading out quite some distance but a maze of stairs and corridors to where you need to get to was some times confusing. The restaurant had great views of the beach as did the main pool area. Sun beds present but no umbrellas for shade. Morning shower was luke warm (but it was so hot this didn’t matter) and water pressure was temperamental. Very quick access to beach with a private path literally 3 min walk and you are there. Breakfast had normal Indian options but there was porridge and toast available. Quiet efficient aircon and nice view from balcony. No traffic noise but lots of noise from other guests as corridor echoed voices.
