Dinner at The Rice Boat Restaurant
The culinary experience at Rice Boat was exceptional. Mr. Ahilan's recommendation of the Seafood Platter, accompanied by a fish curry, was truly outstanding. The dishes were both delicious and remarkably fresh, with well-balanced and exquisite flavors. Mr. Ahilan, the restaurant manager, provided excellent and attentive service throughout our visit. Its prime seaside location further enhances its appeal.
Brilliant hotel, awesome location, outstanding staff
Taj Malabar is probably one of the most brilliantly positioned properties in India. and one of our favourites. We have many memories here, but just now we went back after a long gap for a birthday trip. It was one of the best birthday celebrations we have ever had. The entire hotel management and staff came together to give us an outstanding experience. Nothing was too much to ask for. Beginning from a brilliantly renovated suite with a fab view, to the most outstanding f&b, one of the best reception/ management/ guest services team, the gracious gm, the outstanding travel desk, the seafood restaurant, the ayurvedic spa. all outstanding. I would like to name a few people who were outstanding, though everyone was just brilliant. Operations incharge Mr Gupta, GR manager Elizabeth Mookken, Sojan at banquets , Alex, Jojomon, sarath, abinash, shubhadeep, and so many others at coffee shop, Mr Alihan at the rice boat ( he made our bday dinner outstanding) , Pauly at the travel desk & also Abdul. Dr swathi at the spa was also extremely good. All arrangements for the speed boat and house boat for the birthday celebs were also excellent. our housekeeping was also outstanding, which isnt really easily available in most hotels nowadays. Housekeeping Ramchandran was absolutely outstanding. We are Chambers member and have been to most of Taj Properties. Taj Malabar is truly one of the best.

A Warm and Personalized Taj Experience
We had a wonderful stay at Taj Malabar, Kochi, and the experience was made truly special by the warmth and hospitality of the entire team.
A special mention to Sumesh from the Front Office for being extremely welcoming and helpful, and to Elizabeth, our Relationship Manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Her warmth, attention to detail, and willingness to help made a real difference.
We would also like to thank Alex and Vivek from the Food Court for their exceptional service. The team was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and went out of their way to provide customized food, which we really appreciated.
One of the highlights of our stay was the sunset boat experience. It was not only beautiful but also very informative. A special thanks to Elizabeth for playing a dual role as our host and guide during the experience. Her knowledge and enthusiasm added so much to the experience.
Overall, every member of the Taj Malabar team was friendly, courteous, and genuinely helpful. Their personalized service and attention to detail made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay.
